*ended*DEAL ALERT: Fandyfire HD2011 for $13.69@DX*ended*

I tried to cancel yesterday. got up this morning and see it shipped last night.

Same here! Just shipped this morning.

I just received an email this morning stating my torch has finally shipped.

Just 19 days to ship out an item that's supposed to be in stock? Sure, why not!

Ordered on the 7th, Shipped on the 23rd.

Same here!

Finally!

that says mine has been dispatched, which i believe 100%, just like i believe all of the specs on dx.

The flashlight is totally worthless.

I tried to put in Xtar 2600, Tennergy 2600 and Trustfire Flame 2400. The bore is way too slender to fit 18650 cells.

The only one that I could force in was the Trustfire flame. It skinned off the wrapper and was useless.

CR123 times 2 fitted but burned out the circuit board immediately.

Actually it fits 18650’s perfectly, it’s 19680’s (protected 18650’s) that don’t fit :stuck_out_tongue:

Couple comments...

Never (EVER) force a protected cell into a tight fitting body tube. If the outer heatshrink ruptures at the +B ribbon wire you are at a great risk of a dead short across the cell. In that scenario the only thing preventing a battery short is the anodize coating inside the tube. Fortunately most lights have an anodize layer inside, but its not usually intended to serve as an electrical insulator.

Good to know its 4.2V only, THANKS for taking one for the team. The driver board used in this light is a FET based direct driven circuit and used on the HD2010 and I suspect other single cell H/M/L/DISCO/SOS lights as well.

Mine arrived this past Thursday and is a great light. Batteries fit perfectly and the bean is smooth and not ringy like my UF2100. Just as bright as the 2100 too.

Naturally I thank all persons who send needed data

My grandfather was a Bugle man in the US Army.

Day is Done, day is done

I was over confident and ordered 3 of the lights. One is perfect with a very bright no ring beam++++

one is barely lit and flickers a little---- And one is dead ----

Any recourse? complain to DX? File with PayPal?

This is my first order with DX and my first " burn " from anyone. I actualy like the one light that works, but it alone is not worth the $41 I paid for the three.

Any advice?

If you haven't done so yet, try the trail cap from the good one and see if they still don't work. In my experience the issues you are experiencing are from a loose or bad switch. If they work with the known good one, make sure the switches are tight by tightening the retaining ring or disassembling and reassembling.

Contact DX via Customer Service Express. They might be slow to respond, but I have always got a response, with which I have been happy (that means either refund or store credit).

i'll bet the switch/switches are loose/bad

others have posted about this light, direct driven, and drawing 4.5-4.7 amps. VERY bright, gets hot instantly, and probably doesn't live for very long. did i mention VERY bright?

one more thing, as stevetexas said above, no protected batteries that i know of fit, even the smaller ones. unprotected 18650 only.

can't wait for mine!! I hope my protected 18650's fit now though!

You were both right about the switch! With some clicking and shaking two out of the three work fine and the third only flickers a little. I’ll take it out/or apart to see if it will improve. My Ternergy 2600 protected cells fit.

Thanks for the advice/help.
