I am guessing we where aiming for around $50 USD. I have no idea what Sofirn wants to make on it.
If you buy it at this price its $10 USD more than the Q8 group buy price. From the factory it should be at least 2000 lumens brighter.

NOTE:
1. the light is supposed to has 2 versions: one is sofirn SP70 for muggles, the other is sofirn SP70 - BLF Edition for flasholics. Sofirn SP70 is released first
2. the light officially gives out 5500LM via normal 5500mAh 26650 batteries, while it gives almost 7000LM via HD 26650 batteries and more than 7000LM via 21700 batteries, you need to purchase the batteries seperately.
3. sofirn officailly suggest 5500mAh 26650 batteries for muggles. While flasholics can choose to use HD 26650 batteries which fit nicely, and 2* 21700 batteries can fit but really really tight, not good for the batteries and springs.
4. For those who are located in USA and Germany, we suggest you wait for amazon availability, same price and faster shipping.
5. A sample of Sofirn SP70 will be sent to Jason when the first batch is fulfilled. Then we can talk about a real BLF Edition. Maybe use smooth reflector, add retaining ring or move a bigger step forward for more leds and more powerful etc. It’s possible but not sure.

50 USD seems like a fair and decent price for a light that has had a lot of input from BLF members.
What LED is in the final production?
When you consider what is costs to build something similar, assuming you have the skills and don’t consider the time you spend doing it, I think it’s a really good price. I wasn’t even sure they could build and sell it at $50 and make a profit.
It looks like it will have a 6000K-6500K at first, then later Sofirn will get in the 5350K-5700K.

What about BLF price of SP70 with 2 HD 26650 ?
The HD batteries are currently not ready for sale, but there is a listing for them at $8 each and $17 for shipping. I expect the prices to be adjusted when they are closer to shipping.
As far as I know they are not bundled together, they are sold seperate.
The SP70 will sale on Aliexpress and Amazon.
The HD batteries are only at Aliexpress.
you can see lots of options of 18650 26650 21700 batteries last year, but it seems amazon are very strict with these batteries and few sellers can sell via FBA.
77outdoor tried listing 18650, 26650, 21700 batteries but be blocked without any notification. Guess amazon robot did it.
Whats special in this Flashlight compared to the concoy L6?
Does it have a thicker shelf as the died Kronos Project or similar advantages?
Do you sell holsters for this Flashlight?
Higher lumens, further throw, better heat dissapation, better UI, cheaper price.
Here is the defunct Kronos K70 cutaway.

And what about the smo reflector?
It produced some artifacts so they went with a light texture to make it look nicer.
There might be a true SMO reflector later.
In tests, the SMO measured 31 meters more throw. So it’s a small sacrifice for a nicer looking beam.
