Thanks, I’ll add all the new flashlight suggestions as time permits.
Except…

Initially I thought I would include all kinds of lights. Lanterns, bike lights, whatever. But I’m overwhelmed by the flashlights alone, I have a feeling that adding other stuff would clutter the list.
But thanks for the suggestion anyway. :slight_smile:

I split the list into small/big/headlamp.
Honestly I’d rather remove headlamps if not for that awesome acebeam.

Anyway, it opens the option to add more kinds later. “Lanterns”? “Other”?….
But I’d like to emphasize the word “later”. I’d rather finish flashlights first and there’s still a lot of work with them.

Also - I don’t know what to do about Acebeam D20.
It doesn’t feature a powerbank.
But it comes with a cell that is a powerbank.
As far as I know that cell is not available elsewhere.
In theory one could buy D20, take the cell, sell the light, put the cell in something like EC65 to get a truly awesome flashlight-powerbank. But that’s so expensive and convoluted that I won’t list EC65 among powerbanks. But then - is D20 worth listing?

I decided to list a combination of DQG Tiny 18650 with a Folomov cell.
For 21700 there’s also a similar cell, from Acebeam.

Now….if that cell coupled with some light was a top 21700 performer I would gladly put it on the list. But as far as I can tell - it’s not, 21700 lights tend to be bulky and the lightest that I found which can take protected (21750) cells is Acebeam EC65. Too heavy.

So….I’m not sure whether to list this cell though I’m like “probably yes”.
I have no idea what’s the best way to do it though.

Any suggestions?

Not sure if it's worth mentioning but here is what i have seen at the nearby Lidl :

I have seen them in the shop and decided i would stick with a real flashlight + 2$ powerbank shell from AE

UI is bad but for me not show-stopper bad.
Modding?
Depending on how it’s constructed it would be a moderate or a very advanced mod.

Given enough interest it may be possible to get them to make a BLF edition with much improved UI and maybe other tweaks as well. But then…without good reviews it’s hard to tell whether it would be worthwhile.
