@ steel_1024, tatasal, ToyKeeper, or ’anyone’ who might know: Is this “prototype 4” the latest one?
As in made in the last few days?
Is it going to be sent to a few ’Key People’ for testing before final production begins.
Just curious, thanks in advance for any answers. :+1:
It looks great btw….
I’m kinda wondering the same thing.

“It is fit.” … Maybe it really is. Maybe it really is not.
But ….there is a very large group of people hoping it “really” is……
Me included ……
I would like to buy one with XP-L HI emitters.

if its going in production now we can only assume that the latest prototype is a good indication how the light and color will be for full production…

True…. which is why it would be kinda neat if the “latest prototype” were sent to “key people” for final evaluation before the FW3A goes into full blown production.
Then there would need be no assumption necessary and ’it might’ save mucho pain & heartache down the road ’if’ something was not right.
But, those are only my thoughts & unasked for opinions…. ymmv . :+1:

If anyone’s interested in the actual color of the FW3A in the RAL standard , which takes the camera processing out of the equation:
Which in RGB terms would be approximately:
It depends a bit on where on the light I take the sample. This is from the body.
Inputting the L*a*b values to a color calculator will give you the nearest result within various color standards:
https://www.e-paint.co.uk/Convert_lab.asp
It’s closest to Aircraft Gray on a couple of standards.

We share exactly these thoughts and opinions.
It is appearing unlikely at the moment though. We shall see.
Aircraft Grey it is, then. The FW3A color is officially Aircraft Grey.
…
Well, officially in my headcanon anyway. I doubt Lumintop will put it on their product page.
