Imalent MS18 with 100,000Lumen and R90TS with 36,000Lumen

this item - with losses - is what a 1200 Watt light?
before I drop $600+ - how is this going to be cooled?
The previous Imalent “active cooling” was …. double-plus ungood …

Already been answered. See post #77

Twin axial fan setup in a push/pull configuration. Fans are easily replaced if needed.

Is there a line of people going to jump on this light saber?

Most people can not afford it nor actually need it. So don’t expect the kind of lines you get for a $30 light. Assuming that’s what you mean.

Cost is why Ford sells more cars than Bugatti. I’m sure both have lines of people waiting to buy, but they are different size lines.

yes

Hello my dear friends!

just click the link to the file (.pdf format)
MS18 and R90TS

:weary: The amount of money invested into that case alone tells me this may be light years ahead of my flashlight budget

On the other hand, that’s one damn sexy case! :money_mouth_face:

Holy crap these lights coming out of china are amazing. Acebeam looks to be falling behind with their x65.

So we finally have a high output thrower that goes beyond some of the oldschool incan and hid monsters, except in a state of the art lite package. Crazy.

But the r90c alone droped output very quickly after just 3-4mins, so is the new r90ts going to be the same or worse?

I hope the R90TS will have active temperarure regulation for that price. My R90C output just continues to dimish and doesnt know how to go back up even when the light cooled down by the cold wind outdoors.

R90TS has the same body as the MS18 with heat pipe cooler and push-pull fans

Just incase you weren’t aware:
Acebeam is a 100% based & manufactured Chinese company. (it can appear they’re US or other high end brand due to their extremely high prices)
Acebeam released the X70 last year which trumped the 53,000 lumen Imalent MS12 with 60,000 lumens
Acebeam also produced the X80 with 25,000 lumens then the X80GT with 32,500 lumens

Since the battle began, Imalent rushes to market first but Acebeam has always answered back shortly after with something that trumps the Imalent product.

Acebeam originally announced the X70 at 45,000 lumens here on BLF and then prior to the official launch the MS12 dropped with 53,000 lumens. Out of nowhere the Acebeam official launch was boosted to 60,000 lumens

That said, I will be shocked if they have a hidden warhead that eclipses 100,000 lumens. I’m also really excited though, because the only company willing to take lumens to these levels have been Imalent and Acebeam. The battle is what’s driven the insane output leaps in just a few years

And here’s the problem:
At such high lumen levels, a light will not be able to last even 20 min at full power.

With the most recent high powered lights, that went down to 10 min if sufficiently cooled.

With the MS18, with capable Samsung 30Ts, that is going to be an insane 6 min at the absolute max.

And with XHP70.2s, color rendition is crap, and tint is even worse.
