Review request for HKJ [Rechargeable Batteries]

The Vapcell 16340 is listed now:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/High-capacity-power-RCR123A-Vapcell-16340-800mah-7A-CDR-3-7v-Rechargeable-Li-lon-Battery-First/33000319786.html
I’m curious about the blue 14500 650mAh too, how does it compare to the purple Efest:

The Vapcell 18350 seems to have changed manufacturer without changing the wrapper, there was a rand about that by Mooch I seem to remember, maybe a re-test?

Generally speaking the price of these newer cells leaves me far from being thrilled. The newer 16340 800mAh and Vapcell's 18350 “1100” (cough!) are the worst offenders, particularly the 18350 which can be bought from a well known alternative source at a shockingly ;-) better price. Please lower your jacked up 18350 prices Vapcell, please.

I do not like button tops. I do not like disguising cell practices.

Cheers ^:)

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

Our main mode of sales is wholesale. There are distributors in many countries and regions.

Some distributors complain that our retail sales are too cheap to affect their prices.

The main purpose of our retail sales is that some countries do not have vapcell batteries to buy here.

If there is a local vapcell distributor, it is recommended to purchase from the local distributor.

Sometimes we also have promotional activities, with big discounts.

please keep an eye, thanks.

16340 batteries. It took a lot of time to develop them.

And large MOQ

We’re under a lot of pressure, too.

We listen to the suggestions of forum users, develop better 16340 batteries in the market, and serve users.

That’s our value, looking for the best batteries

If you think it’s a simple job, you can call these big companies efest, awt, nitecore and so on to make the latest version of 16340 batteries for you.

If any of you need 16340 batteries in large quantities, we will give you a preferential unit price.

Batteries are not only unit price, but also service, certification, insurance and after-sales service.

Our small package costs more, about $6. Arriving in Europe and the United States in about two weeks, we also have Commission on the express platform. Lithium batteries are sensitive goods, and there are many lost parts. We need full compensation.

I hope you understand us.

Have a nice weekend

Would be cool to see a review of this Acebeam 21750 cell-powerbank:

HKJ …I just found that LiitoKala now have new 21700 battery 5000 mAh https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2019-LiitoKala-Lii-50E-21700-5000-mAh-Li-50E-Ni-3-7-V-Battery-for-Electronic/32999926349.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.1.562b3749kTNFSq&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3_10065_10068_319_10059_10884_317_10887_10696_321_322_10084_453_10083_454_10103_10618_10307_537_536,searchweb201603_50,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=b356b00a-063c-464e-b493-7bd7d44dcebb-0&algo_pvid=b356b00a-063c-464e-b493-7bd7d44dcebb
since AE may be one of a few choice for non US could you please test this one?

It is out of stock.

My queue for batteries above 2800mAh is 3 to 4 months, I do not really want to order other high capacity batteries at the current time.

It’s back in stock.

The following is a copy/paste of a question I posted here.

A bit off topic question. May someone help me identifying the OEM of this cell:

I got a very good deal of Lii-100 charger plus button top cell. Since I knew no way it was an NCR18650B I decided to remove the button top, and that is what I got after a nice while of play with my rotary tool.

The cell scored 3256.5mAh in my Lii-500's less optimistic channel which, according to my reference data, is equivalent to a ≈3336.5mAh Henrik score. More or less, of course. Which means that cell may be some “34” model of an unknown (to me) manufacturer. May someone shed some light on this?

Thanks. :-)

Cheers

Hello!

Just a brief remark. Long ago Mooch noticed Vapcell's 18350 1100mAh suffered a cell change. It may be worth a retest of it so we can check what its current actual level of capacity, energy, discharge and power delivery ratios are.

Pretty sure Vapcell should be willing to cooperate in shedding light on this. I O:) believe.

Cheers ^:)

i have just received this cell( not from this seller), so far so good, the capacity is in range 3400-3500, and the IR( measured with 4 wires probe) is <23mOhm

i think you should check it, maybe the best high capacity 18650 right now

ps: there are a lot “interesting” cells in China, if only you can buy from there

there is a 3100mah cell and 35mOhm IR that cost lest than $2, and the NCR18650BG i got is only $2

I'm here just to ask, was the Battery capacity/DC Power Detector tested?

Cheers

Not yet, it is in the inbox.

Borrowed a couple pictures from the item's user reviews:

Wow! Big arse device. Around 4½ × 25/16 inches or 11.4 × 5.9 cm. Hope the E-meter application works fine.

Mmm, gross selling price there leaves room for improvement imho. Shipping charges stink a bit high.

23mΩ internal resistance? I guess that is an AC 1KHz IR figure, if it is DC IR the cell is definitively high discharge.

Would you mind sharing where did you bought them? Thanks.

No idea where to post website requests.
Some really great improvements on your website lately. Saves me a lot of time!

Request: Tested mAh at xA

You can find it for LiIon here: List of tested batteries

That’s where I looked.

So I overlook it somehow, or I didn’t explain it clearly…

When I hoover my mouse pointer over the link on the left a window pops up with measured values.
That’s great because that’s what I’m looking for.
My request is that those measured values are also in the table so I can sort on them.

You see, I fully trust your tests. Yesterday I was searching for 14500’s that have a max drain of at least 2A.
So I want to sort mAh at 3A, and then I buy the cell with the highest mAh.
That way I just have to click a few times instead of checking all cells one by one.

3A is in the table and you can click on the header to sort it.
You can also select different discharge voltage above the table, it is best to only check one voltage at a time.

Aaaaarrrrrgh, somehow I managed to misunderstand something so extremely simple….
This is exactly what I want!

Thanks for your help, tests and site!

I'm here for a small review proposal or suggestion, DIY stuff gizmo. It is not a battery, but I think this thread is the closest related thing to (maybe some other generic or DIY review request thread could be nice).

From a few sellers' list:

It is an inexpensive “TC4056A” li-ion charging board with attached adjustable output boost converter. There is no protection circuitry for the battery but they're ;-) easy to find.

The board uses a schottky diode at the output (SS36, by the way), this means it could be possible to set it in parallel with others (but needs very tight output voltage adjustment).

For easy DIY li-ion powering electronics stuff.

Cheers :-)
