NEED a budget single 26650 flooder

I want to buy both of these lights. I am buying the Convoy 1st because Simon does not use glue and has interesting LED/Driver options. After I build the perfect Convoy, I will still get the Sofirn because of the side switch. Sofirn does a good job and is a must for any collection.

Nightwatch NA40SE seems great. Lots of output and much higher regulated than the E07. Tint is quite cool tho.

In 1000Lm mode it will quickly heat up.

Sofirn SP33 XHP50.2 color temps: 6000-6500k. This is the official answer Sofirn. And this is confirmed by paired comparisons.

JKK70 It has a deep reflector, so hotspot will be wide but the side illumination is a bit narrower than SP33

S11 has an average mode of about 750Lm, but a rich selection of color temperatures. Perhaps a pill construction removes heat a little worse, but I have not seen direct comparisons.

Sofirn should hurry with the provision of a choice of color temperatures, it is an important competitive advantage.

Really? If my calculations are correct the SP33 and NA40SE should both be using a bit under 6 watts at 1000 lumens.

I have not had the opportunity to test the Nightwatch NA40SE. I will give other results of tests, maybe they will give data for analysis: 24°C of the medium

Sofirt C8F 3*XP-L(990Lm) – 58°C 20 minutes later. And (650Lm) 50°C 20 minutes later.
Sofirt SP33 1*XHP50.2(1000Lm) – 41°C 20 minutes later and 47°C 60 minutes later.
BLF Q8 4*XP-L(~1100Lm “Group6-Mid2”) – 47°C 20 minutes later.
Acebeam EC65 4*XHP35HI (800Lm) – 52°C 20 minutes later and 65°C 60 minutes later.
YLP G180 9*XP-G2 (800Lm) 45°C 60 minutes later. And (1400Lm) 69°C 60 minutes later.

How does the SP33 manage heat so we’ll compared to the other lights? I was thinking maybe it’s bad thermal paste so it doesn’t let the heat out but that would show after 60 minutes. Could it be the driver efficiency?

XHP50.2
Look also at the lights of the 3*XHP70.2, how much better they cope with heat than multi-emitters 9*XP-G, 18*XP-G or 12*XP-L

Gotta give it another mention… Jaxman Z1.

Better quality version of the revered Cometa, squeezes 1300 lemons continually without breaking a sweat. Big honkin’ chunk o’ metal…

Newer version (XHPwhatever) squeezes out 2000 or so.

I have a CRX Z1. !.
considering a sale.

I have a ft03. not really looking for a thrower. jaxman z1 xhp50.2 looks good but its out of my budget and cool white. sofirn sp33 seemed perfect until i realised it doesn’t come in neutral white. Looks like I’ll be sticking with larger LED’s as they seem to manage heat better. Also looking for a 21700 light to replace my L16.

Ain’t interested in modding? The F13 can be had for cheap, even though it’s quite nice as a host, and easy to mod. 22mm driver, 20mm LED star. Go crazy…

The Convoy M3 XHP70.2

Wellp, if he wants floody, right there that means either a wiiiiiide-angle TIR lens or an aspheric. Or a coupla layers of diffusion film.

Spill (to me) doesn’t count as “floody”, nor a wide hotspot.

Gave a Cometa to the gf, and she loves the wide blanket of light. “Perfect” is how she described it.

High praise indeed, from a non-flashy.

I’m sticking with the Cometa/Z1, if we’re constrained to 26650 lights.

ROFIS MR-70?

Guys, isn’t this an interesting lights… THE JINHENG JKK70 30W 3600 Lumen Powerful 26650 Flashlight SST40 Strong Floodlight - 4000k. Dude, it has 4000k warm white and optional on 5000k and 6000k. Wow, isn’t that greats, huh?

Is Luminus sst40 led warm white 4000k exist or this one is dedomed?? Can anyone here on BLF confirm me. Anyone own this light pls share your thought. because my eye got strain on Cree xhp70.2 p2 6500k due too much bluiesh light harmful one. I had to wear polarised Specs that way I feel much better…

But, hey here are the link

Kaidomain sells that JKK70 as well, but with xhp70.2

maybe wait some more for astrolux mf01 mini ? that should do easy i think 1000 lumens nonstop…

Haikelite SC26
Emisar D4s ?

Not budget, but (Wuben T70):

Besides, it can also use a second tube for +1 26650. This is a good high performance flashlight that will probably hold on for a while on medium mode (1300 lumens).
