Please help my find a flashlight

Hi all,
I’m trying to find good, strong-light, zoomable flashlight, used with 2 26650 batteries.
my son wants to connect it to his telephoto camera of him.
We bought the “HaikeLite HT35 XHP35” but it is blinking all the time so he can’t take photo with it.

Thank you for your help and forgive me for the poor english….

Jaxman Z1 comes in a 2x26650 version.

I'm wondering what you mean by the HaikeLite HT35 is "blinking all the time"

lets say 20 times in second’ something like that

Sounds like PWM he is talking about. Not sure what to recommend but I’m sure someone will let you know your answer.

I hope so. What is PWN stand for?

Pulse Width Modulation

Pulse Width Modulation. A technique of varying the brightness of a LED by flashing it on and off very quickly, making it appear to the eye that the LED is dimmer. Good PWM is at such a high rate that you can’t notice it. But if you wave your hand in front of the light and get a strobe effect, the PWM is getting too low. Some use current regulation which makes the light dimmer without PWM and is also more efficient.

I understand. It’s a big problem if we want to take night shots, Video or stills. so, is there any flashlight with good PWM?

Yes, there are a number of them, such as Convoy. The frequency they use is so high it looks like constant current at any level.

The Convoy is 4000 pulses a second (if not higher)

There are also flashlights with constant current at various levels ex. Zebralight.

The Convoy L6 is great but it is not zoomable. Please, dose someone here knows 25660 fashlights with zoom?

Thank you.

I mean to 26650, of course.

Take a look at this thread.

I am pretty sure I saw the original post from OP and it said something like: I dont want a flashlight from one of those cheap chinese companies.

LOL

Welcome to BLF, most of our FLs are cheap and come from China! They are amazing!

I didn't detect pwm on my Z1
