Massive post on where to get lithium-ion batteries everywhere in the world! Look at Post 2-5 for info, And Canada Post 123

Looks like the only reputable seller who still ships to Brazil is Sunway Store Aliexpress :frowning:
Has anyone already tested their “AERDU” new cells?

Question about Aliya’s Battery Store https://www.aliexpress.com/store/all-wholesale-products/1382210.html

> Has anyone received any shipments recently (to Canada), from Aliya’s ?
> How does Aliya’s ship ?
> Can/will the CBSA confiscate battery orders from Aliya’s ?

Thanks Knobby
Vancouver, BC

1. Yes I have received them fairly recently, no problem there.

2. They ship via a special forwarder that ships lithium ion cells safely and legally. It does cost more, but it is worth it for the next point.

3. It will never get seized by customs, since it is being shipped via perfectly legal means.

It first ships from China, then to a USPS hub to ship both in Canada and in the US via Ground Shipping.

So, yes, you can be perfectly assured that you will get your 18650s.

So, guys and gals, don’t forget that you can contribute to sources here.

I haven’t found anyone cheaper than nkon.nl for European customers and i’ve been looking around a lot.
If anyone knows anyone cheaper, please tell
I would be buying like 50-100 cells.

great list - I remember when the big sellers in Asia would sell authentic sells for 2 dollars after points and free shipping, guess these days are over.

I had forgotten about this thread…

I bought some NCR18650GA on ebay.
The seller resides in Serbia.

The batteries are genuine, but they are 2 year old (code date: 7216).
They are not cheap but is a seller that sends to my country.

The next will be: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Battery-SAMSUNG-Li-Ion-3-6V-3500mAh-INR18650-35E/163397766612

What’s the turnaround time for an order for Aliya’s battery store? I have an order dated 30th April and it’s yet to ship out. No replies when contacting them on shipping status. Anyone dealt with them recently?

Between May 1st and May 8th, there were the labor festivitities.

I would send them a message just in case.

Thanks BlueSword, I was under the impression that the holidays were until the 4th May. Guess I’ll just wait a little longer.

So I picked up a couple of batteries from “The Lithium Guys” in Australia. Interestingly they appear to sell their own batteries that they claim are OEM LG or Samsung. I’m curious to see how they perform, as they’re suspiciously cheap (AUD $15 for two)

Couple of photos of the cell and data sheet that came with it.

Opinions?

Hey guys, I specifically want a vapcell 16340 that can be purchased in the UK with quick delivery in the UK. It wouldn’t hurt if I can also get 25R’s or VTC5a’s from the same place. Any advise please?

Some very good new for Canadians.

A new seller has appeared:

I wonder how it compares to the price from Illum.com? I just got an order for 8 cells (4 35E’s and 4 30Q’s), which came to $55.42 US including the $17.50 shipping charge.

I can’t tell what 18650canada charges for shipping, since they require me to fill out too much stuff to get a quote (I’m lazy). And, do they charge tax? All my orders from Illum have come in about a week, with no tax or fees.

So, for 8 cells, I got charged $55.42 US which is about $74 Canadian. About $9.25 CND per cell.

18650canada seems to be about $7 per cell. If they charge tax, it would be about $8. What’s the shipping charge, and do they charge tax?

Anyway, it’s good to have someone else in the game.

81,31$CA for 10x 30Qs.

Other cells are cheaper for some reason.

It’s the complete opposite of US sellers.

Seems he isn’t targeting the same type of demographic as pure lithium-ion cells sellers or Illumn.

Is that the total price you paid, including shipping and any taxes (was there?)?

If so, that’s not bad. It’s cheaper than Illum. I just tried that 10x30Q order at Illum, and it comes out to $64.90 USD, which is about $86.50 CND.

Includes everything, and doesn’t have taxes.

Okay, not too bad, then. When you get them, let us know if they test as genuine 30Q’s.

@ BlueSwordM;
Have some cells from China. Reading your posts, I think these would pass CBSA?
Backstory;
Ordered some 18650GA’s from FastTech in April, they acknowledged shipped May 23rd. Seems to be using Aliya’s method of DHL ground from Greensboro NC (drop shipping?). The tracking estimated delivery by last Friday (June 7th). Still “En route” (In transit). DHL tracking not very detailed. Do they hand over to local postal service or use their courrier?

I had given hope as had a series of mishaps with some Chinese orders. Originally ordered a MiBoxer C-6000 and later found the item to be discontinued. The batteries were part of the order. The charger: went with C4-12A which is now in Mississauga.
Fast Tech pricing quite good - $26.45 CAD (shipped) for the 4 cells. A tad less than Aliya.

BTW what is your battery analyser? Much better than my inline mini USB tester.

Haven’t had any problem from Aliya or Lucky, but never ordered cells from Fasttech.

It’s this constant current tester:
