intl-outdoor - paid tracking number not received

Hi folks. Flashlight newbie here.

I ordered a Emisar D4S from intl-outdoor.com on 4/27 and paid $2 to get a tracking number since the order was under $80. Apparently it shipped the next day but I never got the tracking number I paid $2 for. I emailed on 5/1 and asked about it. No response still after 2 days.

Has anyone else ordered from intl-outdoor and paid for the tracking number?

From other posts I’ve seen I believe you do have to request the tracking number as the feature isn’t built right into their website.

This is the only odd thing about intl-outdoor; it seems standard procedure not to receive tracking automatically even if you paid for it. I believe it’s written somewhere on the site that it takes like four days for the tracking number to become available. So I would wait two more days or so and mail intl-outdoor again. It’s a great light, I’m sure you will love it! :sunglasses:

Today would be the 5th business day. Anyway, thanks for the response guys.

My wife is getting the first serious flashlight, a MecArmy X35 in copper that I’m jealous of. Its a birthday gift to replace the freebie one she has on her keychain now.

Of all the Chinese sellers you might choose to deal with, Intl-Outdoors is the one you have least to worry about. Hank Wang is about as ‘straight up’ as they come. :+1:

I’ve bought from him a lot, and if you have a no-show package, you can bet the problem is somewhere between his door and yours. If you’re Canadian, start with Canada post and their mountain of backlogged freight, lost and forgotten in some black hole in Vancouver.

I’ve done three lights with Hank, w/o tracking and all were received right at 21 days.

I had an order from Hank go missing in transit. He had already sent a replacement before I noticed, emailed him when I did notice and he let me know there was already another on the way!
I look forward to buying from Hank because it’s worry-free.

I never pay for the extra tracking… i ordered 4 times and they all arrived quickly… shipping is 8-14 days to united states.

Intl outdoor is the best service! Great lights, and good shipping.

I was sent the tracking number. It didn’t work though because apparently since I bought an extra battery it had to be sent a different way (small parcel) via DHL.

Just one more opinion about the seller…

For me intl-outdoor is equivalent for correct partner.

Several purchases with good communication and nothing ever missing.

Just wanted to note that intl-outdoor’s website is down as of 2019-05-11 and M3CSL reports that this has happened multiple times over the previous week. I intend to follow up in the thread here.
