Sofirn C01S SST-20 4.000K 95CRI / Low-High version available again!

14 currently in stock.

Looks like the BLF edition is all sold out. Sofirn should make more high CRI lights like their aa/14500 ones and 18650 ones. A 14500 light with high CRI 4000k and 3000k with stepless ramping would be really cool.

I want all lights to have high CRI and pretty tints. A man can dream…

There is this thread though in case you guys are interested. “Sofirn SP10S ”BLF edition”” Sofirn SP10 Pro (AA/14500/Andúril 2) - now available!
Short description of it is “AA/14500 EDC light with e-switch, Samsung LH351D 5.000K 90CRI.”

Recieved my C01S(L-H mode) today. It needed some cleaning and there are some minor stains(as in even scraping will not make it come off) on it but hopefully some daily use will make it blend in. Performance wise it’s still great!

Glad to hear that the low-high was achieved after all.

If a clean finish was the goal we could have asked for a clear anodisation. Instead there was some specific interest in no ano at all so that is what I went for. So you get what comes straight from the CNC machines, stains and all.
Perhaps a good polish will remove it, or wearing it on your keychain for a month.

Any chance of another blf batch being made?

+1

And some in black if possible

Wait a minute… Is that BLF special edition that starts in low not anodized, as in raw aluminum?

OP updated (BLF edition 1st batch sold out)

Will there be a new batch? Was about to order a few.

I don't know yet. Maybe Barry can tell us more about it.

Let’s see how this batch is liked, not many people have received it yet (I hope to receive mine by this weekend). But by how fast they went, Sofirn would easily sell more.

That makes the two of us Djozz, I’m having mine delivered here at my work in Amsterdam and I’m stillll waiiiiting for them…it was already handed over to postnl 2 days ago!

I hate waiting :frowning:

Apparently mine was passed to royal mail from heathrow around 8 this morning. Hopefully I should have it within a day or two.

Dang. Missed it. Perhaps another run?

Got the notice mine arrived at work after I left for the day. I will need to take a battery with me and give it a few test runs in the morning before it gets busy.

Yeay! happy dance

Just received 2 parcels…one from Sofirn and one from Nkon and all are flashlights

Haven’t opened them yet, they look so pretty in their wraps

Edit: nah…can’t wait that long…I opened it and wow! Loving everything about it…the tint, the finish, how it turns smooth.

The hardest part is now to replace my old friend Fenix E01 with this one on my keychain…I’m not ready to do that yet

Very nice light. I wasn’t sure about the unfinished aluminum when ordered but seeing it and holding it, it’s great for this light. No worries about the finish getting scratched or chipped and it is very grippy in the hand. Twisty is very smooth also. Mine is not greased though. I used it checking some materials on a shuttle trailer at the warehouse. The modes are great - L/H and the lumen output on each seems just right - very simple. The beam profile and tint are to my liking also. My only problem is that I didn’t get two or three. Now I just need to get a magnet and a trit.

Thanks for this BLF Special Edition!

It’s here

Looks fantastic in raw aluminium. You can see all the machining marks, especially on the tail. Beam is very focused for an AAA light; im surprised. I really like the tint. Mode spacing is indeed low - high
