YLP coupon for BLF

I got an email with the shipping info one day after the order was placed.

No, it’s normal. Everytime I ordered I got a e-mail next day saying it’s shipped with a tracking number and your order number. One time it took 3 days for them to ship it.

Thanks guys. I thought that might be the case but just wanted peace of mind.

candor don’t worry - their shop work’s this way…

:+1:

Hi,
Is there a chance that YLP could use similar 0.96 capacitive touch screen module (link)

for their new double 21700 quadro-torch project?
I know that there were suggestions to use it (as it is capacitive touch screen) for total control over the flashlight.

DAMN that think looks cool. Got a link to the discussion thread?

Dang, that Falcon F15 looks like a darn nice 18650 zoomie.

Any suggestions for batteries for that light other than the YLP SA1826R 2600mA/H battery shown at the bottom of the F15 page? Or is that a good option for this light?

I’d never heard of this brand before this discussion.

That project light looks amazing, exactly the future of flashlights manufacturers should be looking at.

Unlike the nitecore tm10k…

I’d be interested in a group buy of that double quad.

Me too

Does YLP have a presence here on the forum?

fnksb is the closest I know of, but I don’t think anyone inside the company is active here. Why do you ask?

They have some nice lights, the prototype looks like it could have a larger appeal but I don’t see much promotion.

I think they’re trying to keep the prototype discussion to one forum. Skimming with Google translate seems to show there’s plenty of opinions to go on there, just like there tends to be with BLF projects.
As for promotion, they’ve been pretty active with review samples - Maukka has posted reviews on at least 3 of their lights, and so have I .

Falcon F15 can work with any 18650 battery, 65-71 mm length is supported. I prefer unprotected, YLP recommends protected batteries.

In general, all YLP-lights (except F20, G180 and Ballista), can be used with any type of 18650. But YLP recommends protected batteries, for the safety of inexperienced users (in case they have a bad charger or batteries can accidentally get to children).

Currently, only me. I work with YLP as an expert and consultant, but don’t take up sales issues.
But I can pass any questions to the YLP-management.

Unfortunately we could not find a good IPS with the touchscreen function. By the way, your links are not really a touch screen
We want to use exactly IPS-screen, not OLED, for comfortable use.

There are also many difficulties to use a touchscreen with gloves. YLP wants to make lights for real use, including outdoor and hard work, not just for the city or for the home collection.
Therefore, the flashlight will be controlled only by buttons.

Haha! I wish I would have seen this thread earlier because I just ordered the YLP 2M CRI headlamp two days ago. I haven’t yet received an order acknowledgement email yet though…
