Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that the site will be offline today starting at 1:30pm GMT (in about an hour from the time this post was created). I need to perform some extended maintenance on the BLF server, and it will probably take several hours to complete. Please wrap up your conversations in the minutes before the maintenance window starts, and select+copy what you type before you post it.

Back online! I just finished a major upgrade of the underlying webserver subsystems. You shouldn't notice any changes, with one exception:

  • Very long private message (PM) threads will now show the entire thread on a single page when you click the << button. This facilitates using your browser's search-on-page function to find information you are looking for in very long PM threads.

Apart from that, if you notice any new bugs, please report them here.

Thanks for keeping this place up-to-date Mr. Admin! The down time was painless to me. I went out into the “real” world for a couple hours and when I came back, you were finished. :partying_face:

There is another bug when using the “Search Within Thread” tab.
When you are searching for a word, before the maintenance it was possible to click on the ID to go to the corresponding message for example to bookmark it or quote it. Now the ID has no link to the corresponding message.
