M4D M4X deals - Astrolux WP1 and WP2 LEP

I really like the FW3A accessories that Neal offers.

Hello my dear friends!

today i received this deals:

Extension Tube for ASTROLUX MF01 MF02 MF02S MF04 MF04S

Spare Long Body Tube Set with Battery Holder & Plate

My Code: MMFET your price: US$20.99

Pen Holder for Astrolux TP01 Tactical Pen

My Code: MTPH your price: US$11.99

Astrolux TP01 from US$16.99

Titanium Bolt Action EDC Survival Pen Tactical Pen

I’m guessing it uses the stock carriers, but you have to use their special separator plate to maintain the stock 6 volts.

Martin, what difference can I expect when using the 10507 carclo instead of the stock optics? Thank you!

Not much difference at all. The 10507 shows a bit more artifacts in the main beam. It might measure a bit more throw distance, but I can’t see any increase in throw.

Thank you!

Does this have a 3.7v~3.8v storage charge function?

slmjim

I doubt that

which charger has that?

SkyRC MC3000 :-)

I think one of Xtar’s new chargers has storage mode, was it VC4S?

What the heck is Storage Charge function?

http://www.xtar.cc/charger/vcseries/2019/0430/411.html

Why make a mode that stops at 3.7v when you can just take the battery out yourself at whatever voltage you want? I don’t get it. Is it just a made up new feature to make it sound better/cooler? That’s what it seems like.

My iCharger hobby charger has that very useful feature, especially for people who owns batteries that are ‘stored’ for years (like in my case).

Lilo cells are ideally stored at 3.7v for longest life expectancies.

Storage mode, when used, will bring up to 3.7v any cell below it and discharge any cell above 3.7v down to it, Automatically terminating at 3.7 while still completing the proper cc/cv protocol (this is different than just watching the display to 3.7v and taking out the cell).

It alams/stops when done or hits the target voltage if you will, so no spending time hawking the charger……I have never used it…but if I did, I could appreciate this feature…

all my cells are stored full - ready to use.

if I want to play with my lights I do not have be time for a charging session first ;)

Can’t argue with that wisdom. I’ve yet to have used up a cells 500 lives yet, not even close.

You can play a lot with your lights even at the voltage 3.7v-3.8v.
Keeping your cells at top voltage all the time, how many years does it take within you notice decrease in capacity etc. and it starts to be worn?

Opus 3100 has an internal switch that can be set to 3.7v, 4.2v or 4.35v. I've been using that.
