I thought it was an okay Friday the 13th movie.

They got rid of the typical Friday the 13th sound effects that I love so much.

I much prefer Freddy vs. Jason.

And I'm a bigger fan of the Halloween franchise, despite half of the films in the series being horrible.

Why is that my favorite movie?

  1. This is IMHO truly the most dystopic, most fearful and realistic movie about how humanity (both in literal and virtual meaning) is going to end.
  2. I have a weekness for dystopic movies and movies without a happy ending (sorry folks but life often is everything but fair and I'm sick of denying the true nature of human beings)
  3. People in 1973 knew better than today what we might face in the future. Today, we have never been closer to a scenario like the one depicted in that movie.
