Led4power.com : LD-4 CC linear drivers, ILC-0/1 illuminated tailcaps, optics, MOSX, copper DTP MCPCBs...

I’m sure I can get Vinh of Skylumen to buy a ton of them. He goes through the non boost 2mm White like a kid at a candy store.

I know I’d buy some myself. It has to be a high bin though.

Hello I would like to purchase six LUMINUS SST-20 4000K 95CRI LED (SST-20-W40H-A120) – Bare and two L4P 3XP Triple 20mm DTP (Direct Thermal Path) Copper MCPCB. I wondering if you offer a flow service to flow the leds onto the board? Thank you!!

I believe this listing is what you want (nevermind his lazy URL naming he does good soldering, lol)

Thank you!’

I corrected URL, it's not laziness, just lack of time and pretty bad web template (sometimes it auto-generates URL fine, sometimes not).

That's the problem, you can't cherry pick bins.

I just purchased two of the sst-20s with mcpcb, I forgot to ask if the 100kOhm NTC temp sensor is for one of your drivers Led4power? It’s not needed if I use a different driver and can be unsoldered?

Once the triple/quad 3030 MCPCB are released I guess you will see huge bump in sales. Just like the SST-20 it is not a very interesting led in singles as I don’t have good hosts for them. Vinh gets pretty impressive numbers with the FW3A: 3*W1 Clear Lens: 2000L, 45Kcd, 424m. No idea where he gets the 3030 triple though…

Yes, it's for LD-A4. You don't need to unsolder it if you going to use other driver.

Those are next on my DTP list.

Thank you!

Worth noting, the triple/quad board for Luxeon V (also 4040) are great and I use them with the normal Carclo optics.

They are compatible with carclo optics, but OSRAM 4040 footprint is not exactly the same as Luxeon's, so Cu DTP 4040 can be used for CULNM1, but mosX can't (central pad on them is wider).

Can you perhaps describe the beam of the Luxeon V’s under a 10507 optic? I had Luxeon V’s in my Emisar D4 and it was a floody mess. Maybe they produced a better beam under the triple optic…

It should be very similar it is a floody emitter after all

Ah that sucks. Wasn’t the same true for the non boost variants of the 1mm and 2mm whites? If so that didn’t stop demand for them.

If it was too floody under 10507 you won't like it in the triples either. That's just how the Luxeon V is, it's a lot floodier than XPL-HI in those optics.

I really like it that way, and the output is so outrageous that I just brute-force the throw. I gave up on the idea of quads/triples for realistic use at anything beyond 30 feet a while back... I haven't tested it with the Kaidomain triples or any Ledils. I don't know if they even fit, or if the beam has any more throw.

Thanks… Soon I’ll try Luxeon V2’s and I hope they perform well under the Carclo 10507.

Neven, do you know if there’s a substantial difference between the Vf of your first batch of Luxeon V’s compared to the ones you sell currently?

If you plan to mix old and new LED, then it's important not to mix different voltage bins. Old ones were G bin, new ones are F.
