Is there a plan for a clip?
The titanium alloy light is gorgeous, what’s the driver size? LED? UI?
Reylight has an AA/14500 driver that goes Moon - Low - Med - High. With 8 taps to disable/enable memory. I wish they sold it separately somewhere.
A small Convoy light with an AA/14500 driver with low to high mode order and the ability to turn memory on and off, and very fast or no PWM would be great.
Simon,
Are you going to list flashlight hosts with batteries as well? For the custom modders you know. If you can ship a light with a battery you can probably ship a host with a battery too…
I would definitely buy a few of those combos.
yes, but it’s not convenient to add link in my store,
if you have this requirement ,you can PM me ,and do transaction via paypal
Simon Mao: Umpi2000:Does anyone know if the S2+ clip will fit the S21 correctly?
not suitable
Is there a plan for a clip?
stainless steel clip is suitable ,but the screws are little short
Simon, do you have plans to create a flashlight with 3*XHP50.2 or 4*XHP50.2?
Simon Mao:Simon, do you have plans to create a flashlight for 3*XHP50.2 or 4*XHP50.2?
absolutely agree

That need to be a huge light. even one XHP50.2 generates a lot heat. A triple neet to have at least L6 size head and need to run on 3-4 18650s or 21700.

50.2 3v

Why is that change anything? I have one in an FT03 and in an L6 and one piece makes them hot. It draws 14A.

In real use, turbo mode is rarely needed. The advantage is that a with 3*XHP50.2 or 4*XHP50.2 flashlight will be able to produce up to ~ 2000-2500 Lm for a long time without triggering the thermal control.
uhmmmm,.i tap 16+ times, but dont work……embarrassing…
My friend!
First of all: Attiny 13 doesn’t have internal thermal sensor.
On the other hand Crescendo doesn’t support any external thermal sensors.
i will try attiny 25V later
Attiny 25 has internal thermal sensor. :+1:
For Attiny 25 you must use this version of Crescendo: crescendo-25.hex
But the best option is to talk to TK.
P.S. I want to say I really respect Simon. He always sent me various small things for free.
He just said: “Order something and I will add to the order what you need for free.”
Wide-hearted man. Thank you friend!
Chatika vas Paus: Simon Mao:i have a problem with Crescendo UI , there is no memory function ,
is it because of attiny 13?Same as in biscotti firmware. Only here is the first option.
Config mode
——————To enter config mode, quickly tap a bunch of times until the light stops lighting up. It should be 16+ times. Then it’ll scroll through the options:
1. Memory toggle. Tap during the “buzz” to turn memory on or off.
2. Thermal calibration. Tap during the “buzz” to enter thermal
calibration mode.
- Light turns on at a low level: Tap now to set default temperature
limit. Otherwise, wait.- Light goes to full brightness: Tap at any time to set temperature
limit to the current temperature. Basically, wait until it feels
hot, then tap.So, to set a temperature limit:
- Tap 16+ times.
- Wait for the light to blink twice.
- Tap during the “buzz”.
- Wait until the light feels hot, then click to turn it off.

Today I checked Crescendo for attiny13 and nanjg_layout (single channel). It is indeed too big. You must remove all blinky modes and memory.
Then I checked for attiny25 and fet_7135 layout (dual channel). On the default settings everything fits. There is even thermal regulation.
It seems that you have to use attiny25.

following are the photos of flashlight with 3*sst20 & Crescendo and the titanium alloy AAA flashlight
Those are nice looking fins. Can’t wait to see the 3 and 4 emitter Carclo TIR variant of the flashlight head
Is this design with a 26650 battery or a 21700?
Honestly, I prefer a triple reflector, especially if it uses an OP one.
Reflectors are more efficient than TIRs, so that’s a good thing.

On the other hand, TIRs have more ‘creamy’ beam, that is why they are also desirable.
But as you said, this design would be even better with an OP reflector (fine/mild texture).
Even another thing, that multi emitter reflector flashlights are almost always with small reflectors for each emitter. I would also happily take one with e.g. 6 or 7 emitters, and at least 35-40 mm diameter reflector for each emitter in the flashlight head (with nearly no or just slight overlapping).
Simon Mao:Simon, do you have plans to create a flashlight with 3*XHP50.2 or 4*XHP50.2?
yes, but it needs several months

i tried OP and SMO triple reflector ,the beam of SMO is better
