It should be very similar it is a floody emitter after all

Ah that sucks. Wasn’t the same true for the non boost variants of the 1mm and 2mm whites? If so that didn’t stop demand for them.

If it was too floody under 10507 you won't like it in the triples either. That's just how the Luxeon V is, it's a lot floodier than XPL-HI in those optics.

I really like it that way, and the output is so outrageous that I just brute-force the throw. I gave up on the idea of quads/triples for realistic use at anything beyond 30 feet a while back... I haven't tested it with the Kaidomain triples or any Ledils. I don't know if they even fit, or if the beam has any more throw.

Thanks… Soon I’ll try Luxeon V2’s and I hope they perform well under the Carclo 10507.

Neven, do you know if there’s a substantial difference between the Vf of your first batch of Luxeon V’s compared to the ones you sell currently?

If you plan to mix old and new LED, then it's important not to mix different voltage bins. Old ones were G bin, new ones are F.

No I won’t mix the different voltage bins. I was curious because I have one of the first samples in my Convoy S3 and the Vf was quite high compared to the SST-40 VH voltage bin. I’ll just move mine to my dad’s light and get the F bin for myself.

By the way, what are the voltage bins of all the different colour temp Luxeon V2’s that you currently stock?

I didn't buy full reels of those,so I don't have that info, but I measured ~2.82V@700mA with temperature correction, so it seems like they are X voltage bin.

Thank you

20mm LD-A4 and LD-B4 PCBs:

Hmmmm… So when will these be available?

LD-A4-20 in 2-3 days, LD-B4-20 a little bit later.

:+1:

Same firmware and features?

Yes, this is still LD-x4 generation, just 20mm diameter (with some pcb modifications for easier use, such as bigger wire holes and soldering pads).

Neven, do you see any chance to offer Carclo 10507 triple and 10621 quad optics in your shop?

Unfortunately, the 10507 seems sold out but was offered for a very reasonable price in the past.

Hvala vam! :-)

Cheers, Thomas

I will see, it seems demand for optics is quite low, so I'm currently investing more in custom stuff not available elsewhere like MCPCBs.

What about offering different sizes of drivers? currently i only see the 17mm in three varieties
