✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX MF01S 15000lm Flashlight Group Buy - ENDED

Something is not right with those test results
X=0.3366, Y=0.3222 results in a CCT of 5290K and an IMPOSSIBLY ROSY duv of –0.0119

A 90Cri 5000k emitter can either be the 219C or LH351D, both are known to be greenish tinted. I would much prefer a tint mixed SST-20 3500k with 6500k to produce a tint similar to the 219B 9080 and still have 80+ CRI.

I mean, that duv could be possible with FA3 emitters.

However, that CCT has to be a 219C or LH351D.

Maybe they managed to get Digikey’s high CRI LH351D 5000k that I found last year?

Absolutely impossible with FA3 emitters. FA3 may be able to achieve –0.00119 but not –0.0119, which will make Cree 3D and 219B 9080 look green

Wait, I just noticed too.

That duv is insanely low.

Are they taking the measurements with the red LEDs for some reason?

Interested.

I have a tint mixed sst-20 FA3 / 6500k setup in my EDC and while it looks good it is not nearly that rosy.

Hi,
I’m interested !

Photos look great. I’m wondering did they change the optics? The original MF01 had a big hotspot with almost no spill. This one seems to have alot of spill.

FYI, the above tint spectrum sheet that was posted is really strange. That light is supposed to be an SST-20 6500k 70cri setup, so no idea how he is getting those readings.

This is the review it is from: http://tieba.baidu.com/p/6177807888

Interested.

If I’m not wrong, I’m seeing over 100 000 candela for that last reading.
The SST-20 version is significantly throwier than the 219C, which is to be expected, and with a 6500k 70CRI emitter, light output must be massive.

@BlueSwordM:

I'm not seeing your images in your last post.
