✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX MF01S 15000lm Flashlight Group Buy - ENDED

Interested

Photos look great. I’m wondering did they change the optics? The original MF01 had a big hotspot with almost no spill. This one seems to have alot of spill.

FYI, the above tint spectrum sheet that was posted is really strange. That light is supposed to be an SST-20 6500k 70cri setup, so no idea how he is getting those readings.

This is the review it is from: http://tieba.baidu.com/p/6177807888

Interested.

If I’m not wrong, I’m seeing over 100 000 candela for that last reading.
The SST-20 version is significantly throwier than the 219C, which is to be expected, and with a 6500k 70CRI emitter, light output must be massive.

@BlueSwordM:

I'm not seeing your images in your last post.

Just took a look at the Chinese review. Looks like they got rid of the battery carrier from the photos :+1:

Yep, it reminds me of the Haikelite MT09R battery design. I guess it is still 6 volt like the early model. 2S2P on the batteries and 2S9P on the emitters.

Looks good, interested

Updating list now...

Does it support flat-top batteries? only button top? Maximum length of the batteries? What are the best batteries for this flashlight? Any better than the Samsung 30Q? Some coupon for the 30Q or other better batteries?

It should accept both button and flat top batteries like previous MF series models. SAMSUNG 30Q button is currently on offer at $19.99 .

Don’t those white plastic things prevent flat tops from working and at the same time help with reverse polarity?

@contactcr, these white disks prevent flat tops from working, and help with reverse polarity.

As always, just heating up the disk with a heatgun to soften the glue, and removing the disk works well without leaving any residue.

Yea I guess I realize that but not something I would really advertise.

I had no problems with those plastic disks in flattop 30Qs in my MF01 /shrug

Maybe I should take them out anyway just to be sure…
