First time buying from fireflies, we’ll see how quickly they send it out.
I cant believe everyone went off the deep end so quick, wait yes I can. I agree with SKV89, considering tooling it may even be more to do stainless? Good on FF for offering up the copper bezels though. After all, i’m sure everyone complaining is planning on the light being a shelf queen, in which case they should have their bezel of choice

but no, really, “all copper” means just that. I bought it with the intent of being a shelf queen, next to my other copper shelf queens. I have other lights for daily use. If we ordered a car with a specific color and it was delivered with a two toned paint scheme, the majority of us would livid
I bought the light because of the 100% copper and I expected it to be 100% copper because that’s what the description said and what I paid for. Did you even buy one? Now fireflies did say they would send me a copper bezel so we’ll see if they actually send it .
I wasn’t implying that they shouldn’t have said something in advance. Just saying that their reasoning isn’t completely off base and I don’t think they did it to “save a buck” or deceive people. Clearly if they are going to send you an additional bezel their intentions are probably good. They have a reasonably good track record for eventually making things right so you should give them the benefit of doubt.
I’ll let you know how I like my Ti version, maybe it will come with your copper bezel
Or maybe fireflies send you the light together with my battery that they promised to refund me.
Its going to come with an aluminum bezel.
The bezel that came with mine is stainless steel.
Why are you guys thinking that’s an aluminum bezel? It looks like machined stainless steel to me. I also don’t see why titanium would be needed to protect from drops for a heavy copper flashlight. Stainless steel is damn strong, definitely a far superior choice than copper or aluminum for a bezel. Titanium might be lighter and have higher tensile strength, but it is more susceptible to scratching than stainless steel.
I’m actually really glad they chose to use stainless steel for the bezel. The fact that they secretly rolled it out while marketing the light to have a fully copper bezel is wrong, but at least they’re resolving the issue for those who want all copper.
the light is custom ordered but build according to themself.They will change anything as their please not as per customer order.

Got mine two E07 lights today, one Ti and one CU.
Very nice lights, but I also would have like to get the Copper bezel on the Copper version.

Every time I’ve been tempted to pull the trigger on a fireflies I end up reading about some issue, and the list seems pretty long.
I almost bought a V2 eo7 when I read about the upcoming Cu & Ti versions, so I waited. I almost bought a copper version but nobody had
one in hand yet, so I waited. Now people are getting their lights, and we have “bezelgate”.
Guess I’ll wait some more……
So far I’m a very satisfied non-customer of fireflies lights!!
And their website STILL has no mention of a different metal for the bezel of the copper light!
