I totally agree with you on the Fandyfire. It's a great light and one I still use, but I wanted a more compact light that I could carry all the time, especially at work. I find that I like this light even better than my JM07 because I like the little bit larger reflector, which is also smooth for better throw and the extra length which fits my hand better. I also like the styling which is similar to the Shadow and I'm partial to the black over the stone white.
Ordered :)
I have a Stainless Steel 26650 light that I DIY fitted with a Neutral XML and 8x7135 driver. It is a nice combo with decent output and medium throw but you can guess how heavy it is. I have 5 26650 batteries already, so I guess I should start using them.
Could anyone have measured the tailcap currents? I don't expect to see a 8x7135 driver in it but still a driver with low voltage limit for my unprotected King Kong 26650 cells would be relieving.
Thanks for the review, biggie. Great comparison information.
Another thanks for the review.
I got two M10s ordered. I am feeling real good about this too.
Thanks, biggie!
M10 is looking better and better each minute. :)
Found some alternative retailers... theres probably more too.
You guys are welcome. I really enjoy being a part of this awesome community of flashlight enthusiasts who share my passion for lights and technology. I enjoy reading each and every review I come across and I try to give back when I can. Looking forward to others impressions about this cool light when they receive theirs.
OOPS!!! I just bought one too (he-he-he... evil grin). Mine is the Smiling shark version, I like the little cartoon shark character on the side... LOL
I like the shark as well. It's better than having the claim of 1600 lumens on the side
I would be curious to the size of the reflector. So far almost all "impressive " reflectors are simply C8 reflectors.
I don't have any C8 reflectors for comparison, but just looking at pictures I'd say they are about the same. See this thread on DX http://club.dealextreme.com/forums/Forums.dx/threadid.966870 They are talking about the Uniquefire UF-2180, which is basically the same as the M10 except it has a shinier finish. Someone states that this light uses the C8 reflector. I'll pull mine apart mine later and try and get some semi accurate measurements of the reflector.
I came so close to getting this light after reading this review. Then I figured I don't really need to invest in another battery type yet (but it takes 18650's!). So I held off. Don't know how much longer I can last.
I also found out this in my Stainless Steel host. Its reflector is similar to a C8. Also my Shadow TC6 uses the same kind of reflector. But, my Shadow lights have a very nice beam while my self built C8 XML lights never could match one exactly. Then, I played a bit with my P60 dropins. You can't believe how much a piece of paper under the reflector can change the beam type. If you manage to level the emitter right you can get a good thrower or a pure flooder.
I'd love to see some pictures of what you did. Sounds like a fun experiment.
For the price you can get it at, and the versatility in battery types why hold off? Plus this format just feels better in the hand.
I agree 100% , in addition, they are only $23 a pop!!! What more could you ask for.. Good light, good review, dam good price... That is why I ordered TWO.. and might go for a 3rd, my helmet can use one too..

You are the man sir!!
I would almost have ordered a Trustfire A8 as my carry arround 26650 light. It offers a TF 26650 battery and a charger for $40. Does anyone have bıth A8 and Keygos M10? A8 should be a flooder I guess.
I'm not sure how to interpret your videos. HD 2010 looks brightest of them all, or so it looks to me. ... I'm probably wrong on this one.
I'm with you. HD2010 quite clearly is the brightest with the tightest and very crisp hotspot. I would have mistaken it for XR-E beam if not for the blinding XM-L "effect".
I like the M10 looks much better though. And hard to ignore the price.
Can we have more quality photos of M10? :)
Insides, disassembled, pill, threads, tailcap, driver?
I'm balancing on the edge on this one ever since I got my M12, and that was weeks ago.
