Favorite movies of all time ?

Current top 3: The Nice Guys (Here’s the synopsis from IMDB: In 1970s Los Angeles, a mismatched pair of private eyes investigate a missing girl and the mysterious death of a porn star.)

Mad Max: Fury Road

and Baby Driver

Still love “The Driver”, “Summer School”, and “Suicide Kings”, and should rewatch them soon.

I really liked Mad Max: Fury Road and Baby Driver.

I'll have to catch The Nice Guys.

I saw Life (2017).

I really liked it.

If you like horror sci-fi thrillers, you'll probably like it too.

The movie was interesting throughout, and I especially liked the ending.

EDIT:

For almost all movies, I pause them many times throughout the film and take breaks.

But I didn't do that with Life.

It captured my interest until the end.

I'm surprised it has only a 6.6/10 on IMDb.

I would rate it much higher because I never got bored.

One more for my list…

American Psycho
Young Adult

coming in the future:
Breaking Bad - The Movie

I saw Once Upon a Deadpool (2018).

It's the PG-13 version of Deadpool 2 (2018).

Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are amazing films, but they're rated a hard R.

In Once Upon a Deadpool, there are extra scenes with Fred Savage kinda replaying his role in The Princess Bride.

The extra scenes are funny, but few and far between.

So if you've already seen Deadpool 2, there's little reason to watch Once Upon a Deadpool.

Also, in my opinion, the best version of Deadpool 2 is the Super Duper Cut.

I saw Sherlock Holmes (2009).

I love mysteries (that get solved), and this movie was a great one.

I also like Guy Ritchie films, and the actor Robert Downey Jr.

If you like mysteries, then definitely check this one out.

Hornet’s Nest

I saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011).

It's an excellent movie, though I liked the first one more.

Part one is more mystery, and part two is more action.

Still, a great sequel.

I hope they make more of them.

Blazing Saddles (1974)

Back when most people could laugh at things & not be offended…
.

American Beauty is my all time favourite. As a real estate agent, Carolyn’s motivation for selling a house has been a great example for me in my career. I always start the day saying ‘’I will sell this house today’’ like she says in the movie. Sometimes you could have difficult tasks like selling a hotel for sale in Canary Islands but as long as you keep yourself motivated and don’t sink into dispear you are always having a chance.

Cleavon Little was a genius, and he and Gene Wilder were brilliant together in the movie. As were Harvey Korman and Madeline Kahn. The racial epithets that Pryor and Brooks decided to include in the script disappointed me, but I do recognize it as a very creative and otherwise ground-breaking movie.

Training Day, American Psycho, Fear/Loathing Las Vegas, Bullitt
Going to look into “Once Upon A Time … In Hollywood”

Hooligans aka Green Street Hooligans

It just dawned on my lightening fast mind what the title of that movie really meant; it was good back then; it’s even gooder now.
Wonder what kind of hot sauce they used in those beans? :person_facepalming:

While eating lunch today— Fast Times at Ridgemont High was on —- watched a little while —lots of future stars in that movie—-

Okay, I gotta move this from “What did I just watch?” to “favorite movies of all time”.

In all its ’80s splendor and goodness…

GOTCHA !

Now try to get that tune outta yer head.

I think I saw Gotcha! on TV at least a decade ago.

I don't remember how much I liked it, but I think I did enjoy it.
