WalkIntoTheLight, I think you should have a large image in your non-existent signature, add an animated gif as your avatar, and start using the Advanced Post Editor.
Of course, I predict that you won't do any of these things because...

I think he is using the āAdvanced post editorā option (look below the text box when writing a comment). If you switch to that the tags disappear. if you need to quote someone using this format, you could click the quote button, switch to the advanced editor, copy the text sans formatting, then switch back to regular. Extra work to be sure, but maybe less frustrating than deleting all the formatting. Iām not sure the formatting adds a lot for the amount of extra text it creates, but using the advanced post editor may come with some benefits we arenāt seeing by using the āsimple post editorā (my preference) anyhow.
Personally, I donāt go for all the flash some like to use in sigs/avatars/etc, but Iāve usually had positive interactions with raccoon city. I think he is a valuable member here, and it feels like we really shouldnāt care too much about what he puts in his signature. I heard this line in a play one time: ā āto each his ownāā¦ said the lady as she kissed the cowā. You can use an ad blocker to remove/block those items if you wanted to, and it wouldnāt cause any trouble or drama.
Iāve not had much interaction with nev since I joined, but it seems from some of his recent posts that he is a kidder (imagine the uncle that always tries to āyank your chainā or āget your goatā) and probably doesnāt like Anduril as much as I do. Bad words are out of place here, but it seems he changed the avatar since then. Iād say weāre probably good at this point.

Iām way excited about the FW3-CuTi version. I decided to save my Lexel AUX board for when it arrives. Iām torn on whether I should put some 219bās (the lovely SW45K variety) in it or some LH351Dās (5000k 90+ cri). My wife will get the FW3C once Iām finished modding, polishing, and applying renaissance wax to it.

I think theyāre just distracting, especially racoonās creepy sig picture. If it was small, maybe not so much. And really, what do big unrelated sig pictures add? At best, it makes the forum look like itās filled with advertising.
Iāll look into an ad-blocker. Do you recommend one for Chrome? Ad block plus, maybe? Can it remove just racoonās sig, and not mess anything else up? Nobody elseās sig bothers me in the least, so I donāt want to block anything else.

See the bottom one? That spec of whatever can cause it to look like the top left one after a few seconds of turbo. That is the worst solder job I have ever seen. The wires, the LEDs, the solder balls, the flux. Itās all bad.
