ACEBEAM K75 LED Searchlight Throw 2500meters 6300lumens Output Released

I doubt it can come close to my proper dedomed MF04S, even without my dual packs.

MF04 is a budget light with an oversized head

You forget the S on its chest!

.

The dimensions on acebeam’s website seem accurate. Maybe I can take a pic of it next to some popular lights? I guess the most popular ones I have in my collection would be E07, ROT66, CatapultV6, and TN40. I don’t think people like the plunger style lights as much, but I sure do!

I’ma try to hit a local park in the next couple nights to get some beam shots there. There’s a bridge in that overlooks a river valley.

I will have my Acebeam K75 this coming Wednesday. I will definitely compare it to my BLF GT, MF04 and W30.

Awesome! Please include the RT90TS in your pic too if you happen to own it as part of the comparison… or any high output thrower like the X65/mini or TN40S. (As far as the impression and adrenaline you feel once you power it up to turbo!)

Got my Acebeam K75 today.

I’m hella jealous. Can’t wait for those beam shots and comparisons

Tested at 10 meter throw. The tests were done at switch on. K75 is a monster.

So about 1.8MCD at 13:81? Can you explain what the time means in the three pics?

Thanks for the test, very interesting.

Mine arrived today and I made a little video of Unboxing. I also add some photos.

Woa looks like K75 has beaten the bucket head by a significant margin.

What does that translate to in candela?

Can you lock out the K75 by loosening the tail cap or body a half turn ?

Yes indeed

Holy mother of god

Thanks for comparing the lights. However I would much rather see a comparison between the Astrolux MF04S, which would be a better light to compare K75 to. The MF04S has an 70.2 and not a 35hi.
If Acebeam wanted to immediately de thrown the Astrolux and BLF GT, they should have made the k75 with active cooling. Just saying.

If I had to guess, dedomed XHP70.2 MF04S would do around 5000-5500 lumens and 900kcd. It should definitely manage a turbo output a little longer than the K75 at its turbo. Stock MF04S with dome on was quoted at 6000 lumens and 600kcd.

If ran direct drive, a dedomed XHP70.2 in the MF04S would do like 8500 lumens and 1.3mcd, and probably get as hot equally as fast as the K75.

I definitely don’t like the idea of a loud, active cooling light. What Acebeam could have done was introduce an output of around 4500-5000 lumens that wouldn’t get hot nearly as quick. The efficiency of the SBT90gen2 is going down the toilet when driven to 6300 lumens. . And as I wrote previously in the topic, I definitely would have moved the cooling fins that are halfway up the head further down to be more usable. When more conservatively driven, it seems pretty great (2500 lumen level has no heat problems and runs with ruler flat regulation for a little over 2 hours.)

Anyone know where to get the SBT-90 Gen 2?

I want to play around with them to see if it is possible to use an FET driver with them. I have a feeling they will not be driven hard enough this way but only way to know is to try it.

Yes you succeed.

Someone finally posted beam shots of a K75 on YouTube. It’s also the same guy who posted beam shots of K70 a few years ago. I’m not sure if it was more foggy that day, but the difference is astounding. My K70 got completely destroyed. Now I have to buy this light for pretty damn sure.
