I am a beginner in terms of flashlight and want your opinions about my purchase. I'm looking for a flashlight for all purposes; to make emergency maintenance on my motorcycle, small electrical repairs and stuff, plus some night gardening projects, in short a pocket edc flashlight.
Here in Brazil, the most popular chinese good deals site is DX, the most compreensive for me too, with reviews and product forums, so I’ve looking na found these options who match my needs:
What you guys think about these options? Can I found other wolrd wide free shipping sites with better options like TD or DD?
Aditional detail: I Will use most AA or AAA batteries than any other model, but, IF you guys show me some good stuff, I have intention to buy some special size batteries and chargers....

The Trustfire R5-A3 is a classic and always good for recommendation. There are plenty of other AA sized lights that work on AA but really shine (pun intended) on 14500 cells. The Balder SE-1 and Xeno E03 are perfect examples and you can find tons of information on this site if you just put them into the search box at the top left.
As for sites, I hesitate recommending any other than DX because I am well aware of how much Brazilians depend on DX as from what I understand, getting deliveries in Brazil can be rather difficult. Hopefully there are other members here that can recommend sites that are known to reliably ship to Brazil.
You could always contact the following sites and see if they would anticipate any issues because they are some of the best to buy from:

except for the Tiny III's size, the Fenix is superior imho in all other respects. btw, my previous EDC was this unanodized 83.5x19.9mm aluminum beast!!
...so no wonder i am thinking of the Fenix as a small light (and as small as the 10mm shorter iTP A3). In actual EDC i dont note any difference between the sizes of iTP A3 and Fenix.
..but, in fact, it looks & feels really much like the II-version. Just imagine DQG Tiny II, which doesn't eat the O-ring and without battery rattle. The best just got better!
AFAIK, the medium mode is about the only thing where Fenix is better. But feel free to educate me. :)
after killing my 2 worms (SS 2012, alu 2011) *oops* hehe i dont feel like buying more 1xAAA lights which do *not* support 10440's. and after the Fenix anything else (AAA lights up to 40$) seems anticlimactic .. to me. i'd have some pocket money left for the Tiny III but i really need to see the fresh photos. then i'll take an instant decision -- to splurge or not to splurge ;)
hundreds of different lights are discussed weekly on BFL (and cpf) but only very few users care to review their own lights (for which no good review exists already), what a pity.
at one point i would post something like a LD01 review.. :steve: and it does have something to do with education. While Fenix being the pioneer and dinosaur in 1xAAA Cree power LED lighting technology i was thinking that all competing successors and imitators would try hard and succeed in releasing much better products (for the same or less money) but i was wrong. Errare humanus est. I could have saved all the expensive EUR's on worms, itp a3's, mix6's and Tank's and got it all right from the very beginning if i had really known the following little piece of info: Fenix, and then no need to look any further.
but this little piece of valuable info is lacking on the WWW. no clarifying or detailed LD01 Release 4 review exists on the entire inet!! (not even by HKJ, selfbuilt or mev). and probably the current LD01 (=LD01 R4) owners are not aware that their light is indeed on the very top of the vast competitive field. and how should they know if nobody on the WWW did a comparative review up to this point?
time has come for some fenix shilling and re-popularizing a well-known (see amazon.com) keychain light which everybody has come across already in some manner at some point... ;)
You will not find a brighter (a zoom light will throw farther but with a pencil thin beam), and smaller AA powered flashlight than the uniquefire G10 for less than $13.50. If you do, pls let me know.
Do you mean single mode version running on li-ion? I have a multi-mode G10 but consensus is that it will fry if I try to run it on 14500's. It's a nice little light, but brightness on AA is distinctly meh..
I also just bought this ThruNite T10 for my girlfriend, it just takes regular AA batteries. I bought her some Energizer Lithium Ultimate AA's to go with it but any regular akaline battries should be ok too.
When I was getting the XENO E03 it was a tough decision between that and a Balder SE-1 with a XM-L emitter, this can also use a 14500 battery or standard AA's.
Keep in mind that the the XENO E03 and Balder SE-1 will have significantly lower output with AA batteries rather than 14500's.
If you do choose to take something that uses 14500 battries, you will need a charger like this. But it often turns out cheaper in the long run rather than buying disposable batteries, plus they will make the above flashlights (excluding the ThruNite T10) more than twice as bright.
Totally agree with you here... The AA either needs to be a 3 mode, or the max modes needs to be seriously dropped in output to actually be usable for more than 30 seconds.

I've seen some lights you guys presents me, brands, non brands, many options, now I have some questions:
when I look over the flashlight wiki, the cree article show some charts, about lumens over mA... the XP-G seems the most bright, and the best (and affordable) option with R5.
Some guys here presents me R2 or WQ, and I get confused, what it means at all? And, how can I take advantage of these mix of options?
I've see some suggested reviews and get concerned about runtime... some guys talking about cell vampires and all... I have in mind buy some good cells, but we have here testimonials about drivers fryied with these high performance cells. How can I balance this to get the best of both?
If I have to discard or slow down some option (between luminosity, runtime and type of cell) I'll prefer a medium light (below 200Lm) with good runtime. Can I still have some options you gave me?
