Wasn’t planning on buying any more because I just bought a Jetbeam st titanium , fireflies eo7 copper but just saw fireflies has a brass e07 group buy so ya add another to the collection.
Pretty much same situation here I think. Kind of bored/I have everything I want. I see new models as only minor upgrades over what I already have.
I have interest though in new old stocks; I’m looking into good old Sunwayman from 5+ years ago or so.
I also wish Haikelite would come up with something like MT03/MT09R; maybe an 8x18650?
With me it’s not even that. I already have “in rotation” all the lights I need. MH20 in my pocket all the time, but I rarely use it, as it’s an on-the-go light, not an at-home light.
At home, there’s the Cometa for pretty much everything. WK30 for snooping around in red/UV. bobofett to burn down “dead” alkaleaks when tailstanding. DC7 for when I want/need lots of oomf outside and moonlight or thereabouts when I don’t. I don’t even use my SP10 anymore and that was hella useful with F/L/M in the main rotation and H as “turbo”.
I emptied out my bag so don’t even carry my Jet-II as a backup anymore, just the SP32Av2 in its holster.
Everything else I got is kinda extraneous at this point. Even nice lights like the TK15/TK18/C8anything/GTminimicronanopicofemtoatto/etc., I’m not likely to use because one or more lights I already have “out” could fill in.
Like I said, I’m kinda all flashlighted out. Pretty much got full coverage for whatever situation I’d encounter. Even my MT09R is loaded, but locked out. When do I “need” that over a DC7/Q8?
This for me too. I’m eagerly awaiting the new D80, then I plan (hope) to chill for a while.
I should get an Emisar, I’m probably one of the few that doesn’t have yet, but I’m thinking about getting a couple older ones fixed or upgraded, if that’s possible.
Sofirn SP10S ( still waiting for the Anduril version )
Fireflies E07
Maglite Solitaire Incandescent or something with incandescent bulb that is cheap ( that's correct, i just want to know what would be like getting a flashlight 30 years ago )
