You could add something like this to the driver but that take away the reverse battery protection (second pic). I would assume it probably doesn’t have a electronic protection that’s the reason it has a mechanical protection. So you’ll have to be carefully to make sure the battery is inserted correctly.

That work too, but it tends to oxidize in a few uses. Works fine as long as you clean it ever now and then.
You’ll probably find the MRPP ring is soldered onto the driver.
My low temperature Bi50Pb32Sb18 blob converted cells do not suffer from oxidation on the top.
How much money are you paying for Eagtac or that sort of manufacturer flashlights? In my opinion paying good money for something and receiving such a piss-poor “@#$% consumer battery choices” reverse polarity protection solutions is very bad.

Are those suitable for flashlights?
I often see these claims in battery advertisements, and sorry to say but that is wrong. Batteries can be used to power up a multitude of things. I could use a battery to power up a personal vibrator, for example.
The pertaining question here is, ¿is the flashlight and its driver designed to make use of such battery? Also, ¿is the flashlight user knowledgeable and responsible enough to properly take care of it?
I am not aware of flashlights designed to be powered by 26650 LiFePO4 cells. This could be useful for very low Vf leds and linear or unregulated drivers.
After the very good experience with the Vapcell support during my last order i ordered the 18350 cells now. DHL did not leaf a message that the package is ready for pickup in the Post office 150m away.
So the package was send back. Instead of asking me for money (thats what AE usually does) the Vapcell Support contacted DHL and managed a second delivery for free. 1A Support and fast help.
And not only the support is great i can only say good things about the cells. Untill the next buy.
I’d like to check out the Vapcell S4 Plus charger, but going to the AliExpress link, it indicates “cannot ship to my country”…

The Vapcell store is original. The cell is a new one, not yet tested. If it’s really 1000 mAh 10A - WOW, a real upgrade over what we’ve seen so far.
I agree that it’s dishonest to show a test of a different cell.
Dennis updated the OP with this 10A 14500 cell, great development! , it goes with a different chart which is probably correct. So have a look at the first post. Also a very interesting: a 2200 mAh 18500 cell that does 4A.
I think Samsung 18500 can do 5A if i’m not mistaken
1000mAh and 10A is awesome if true !
