Gocomma assisted & manual flipper knives

it’s worth it tho, I put off getting one for a long time, but these are hard to beat for the price.

This knife is still on GearBest, but the Gocomma branding is gone!

Also, it says it has an axis lock, but it doesn't look like it does.

I have a Baklash. It really is amazing for the money. Whether you get the basic version for $42.50 or one of the fancy-scaled versions for $50-something, it’s easily one of the best knives you can get for the money. Most of the Civivi knives punch above their pay grade.

Now that I also have the Gocomma, I can tell you that your bet is safe. That’s not really a surprise though. The Gocomma costs like a third as much. I’m still skeptical that this is real D2. My schedule is crazy this time of year but as we get into fall, I’ll give the Gocomma a run as my primary EDC and see what happens.

That is the first of the Gocomma knives that has piqued my interest. Might have to pick one up. Is anyone besides Gearbest carrying it?

As for Civivi, none of their knives so far have really spoken to me either. I do own two of the Massdrop knives that WE produced (a Gent & Keen) and I’ve been impressed with their quality, I just haven’t found a Civivi I love yet.

My next purchase is going to be this newly released Steel Will beaut….

Since some Gocomma knives don't have model names or numbers, they can be hard to find online.

BTW, that knife is no longer called Gocomma on Gearbest.

I don't know what happened.

Maybe the comma went?

Go, just go, …

Exactly. You hear it enough, “GO, comma!”, you’ll get sick of it and just go

Poor comma…

That somehow reminds me of a line in Coldplay's song "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall"...

"I'd rather be a comma than a full stop."

I received this knife today...

8.9cm D2 blade and a G10 handle:

I ordered it on May 19th, 2019.

I received it today, August 27th, 2019.

I'm very glad GearBest actually shipped it.

I have three Gocomma knives, and I like this one the most.

It quick opens pretty well, though the shape of the flipper is not ideal.

Plus the clip is good.

This is the best knife that I own that supposedly quick opens.

Did anyone tested the steel quality? They look great on pictures and spec, but don’t know if this is merely cheap steel.

Luv Them Knives on YouTube will test your knives.

I’ve seen this GoComma assisted flipper branded as C.J. Herbertz in a local knife shop for ~$20 today:

Any active coupons out there for this one? I’ve seen them as low as $2.99 before.

I don’t know about any specific coupon for that folder but you can grab or play for general coupons here during the Super Sept. sale.

3 frickin’ months? You’re more patient than I am.

Yes, well the item wasn't in stock when I ordered it.

GearBest didn't ship until July 12th, but I knew that at the time.

LMAO!!!

Herbertz branded knives are for 420 (think 3Cr13, not 420HC!) blade steel lovers

Can these still be purchased anywhere? The Gearbest links don’t seem to work.

I bought some a while back but would like to grab a couple more as for the price they are unbeatable.
