I just modded my Imalent MS18. Dedomed all XHP70.2-s in it. Made a video with beamshots and also thank you for 500 subscribers and I talk my wirk in progress and future mods and what reviews coming soon.

Very interesting. The tint on both the GT70 and MS18 don’t look green or yellow in the video. I’m surprised you measured the shaved GT XHP70.2 at 1MCD. Theoretically it should throw much less than the XHP35 HI. Did you measure the regular GT also with the same lux meter?
Hope you will post videos of those active cooling mods. Very creative! 
Yes my stock GT which was this exact flashlight was 980 kcd as it arrived with XHP35 HI. Then I 3D printed a lot of different thickness centering rings and it maxed out at around 1125kcd.
Then I putted in a 4000K XHP70.2 and a GT70 driver and got 516 kcd. Then make an 5000K led swap and dedomed that one and got the 1008 kcd.
You can notice I removed the yellow phosphor on the edge of GT led. That is what causing tint shift on dedomed XHP70.2-s.
On the Imalent I left that on leds because I don’t want to accidentally cut in leds next what I am cutting and that MCPCB reeeeally sucks heat so hard to replace leds. So I really don’t want to mess up. And I tried the MCPCB with reflector and the OP reflector and the number of leds mostly wash out yellowness and tint just shifted to 5500-5700K which I like better than 6500K cool white.
Oh wow that is amazing throw for a 70.2. You should sell your centering rings to Lumintop and teach them how to shave!

The centering rings I only made for XHP35 HI. For XHP70.2 I used their centering ring.
Every info is out there but I think it will raise a flashlight cost very much. For the GT it is 20-30 minute to done one led. I hope I can get some day a GT4 and make that too 
But I don’t think I can afford to buy one.
