Sky Lumen Nguyen Flashlight

I don’t laugh very easily, but I was laughing my butt off watching this!

Watching the video make me want to say. Get the hell out. I will show you how its done. hahahaha

SLN Heat Test 2 (Samsung 30T)
Starting 4000L 4.2V
Too hot to touch at 2.5min
Max temp @ 10min
End test 12.5Min
Ending 1400L 3.14V

Only if you miss it the First time

Look at these Bullet comparisons —- In the video they’re shooting the T-Rex—- 750 grain 2480 ft lbs / sec with 10,180 ft lbs of force Elephant Gun

WOW! How many amps for that output? Very impressive build, Surefire only through theirs in a dryer.

I like this flashlight a lot. Hope the price will not be too high.

Unfortunately it is too high :frowning:

I cant get around that unless have it made in China.

at least Vinh is honest

Finally we can get a true 10k+ lumen single cell flashlight!

I would be VERY surprised if it could stand up to 9mm. LockPickingLawyer and BosnianBill recently shot a bunch of locks and InRangeTV has been doing AR500 armor penetration testing.

SLN Test 8: Subzero

SLN Test 9: Boiling Point

SLN Test 10: @ Depth

Your excitement is contagious! Congratulations on passing the deep water penetration test! :+1:

That was my fav test video to date. Gave me a tear or two from watching you as happy as you were.
Congrats Vinh!
and that’s not even a diving version! The drop test is my most anticipated video. Can’t wait.

Thank you for all the support! I dearly appreciate it. First step to everything is usually the hardest.

The drop test is schedule for tomorrow. We will do the drop test with the unpotted light engine that we have been using for all the tests so far. If it pass then wonderful. If the light engine fails then I will make another light engine that is potted and redo. Potting will be optional at time of order. I suspect most will not need this option as it adds little benefits if our current light engine passes all the drop tests.

Today after the “@ Deapth” test I found out the optics seems to be a bit bent from heat. I am sure the “Boiling Point” test did this because I did not notice this before that test. Beam is still good and light of course operated flawlessly but I thought I mention that. If you are going to cook the light without a battery inside then the optics is the weakest link.

Test 1: Bucket Water Dunk

Test 2: High Water Pressure

Test 3: Corvette Drive Over

Test 4: F150 Drive Over

Test 5: Heat Test

Test 6: Chemical Resistance

Test 7: Heat Test 2 - 4000L High Drain Samsung 30T

Test 8: Subzero

Test 9: Boiling Point

Test 10: @ Depth

Test 11: Impacts

Test 12: Drag It

Can guarantee you this light will be $300+

If we buy it from you?
