Yes, you can order w/o e-switch version, but I’ve never tried it.
Anyone know where to get a lens? The tint on my L21A is funky and I am told it is likely the lens. So I would like to get a better lens.
The anti reflective coating on the lens tends to have a very small effect on the tint, usually making it look a bit warmer. If you want it to be a bit cooler/white you can try removing the coating. I think there are glass polishing cloths that can do this.
Another option is to measure the diameter and thickness of the lens and look online at Aliexpress, Banggood, Gearbest, etc… for the correct size. Most generic lenses are not coated, but if it is it will say in the ad.
In quickly looking up info about the L21A I only see it available in 6500K cool white SST-40. Is this what you have? Going to a clear lens will make it more white. Is this what you want or do you want to go away from the white to a more cream color? To do this requires a new led.
dragunbayne, try Chris at flashlightlens.com His UCLp lenses are ultra clear with 99.6% or better light transmission, any light I am serious about gets a lens from his shop. 
Do you know why he isnt doing much UCL glass anymore?
I know there has always been a limited selection on the UCL, never worried too much about going with the UCLp…. must have 30 or more.
Actually the issue is that there is some green. I don’t have the light with me right now, but if I remember right it is a green ring around the hotspot.
Well, that is not caused by the lens, but by the emitter.
OK, so I mis-remembered. I think my whole issue is just color. Unfortunately there is no more neutral LED available right now I don’t think. I’ve seen some manufacturers get better tints, but none I can buy. My D80 V2 is an SST40 but has superior color. I think I have seen Convoy has some 5700K SST40s. If anyone has found them available let me know.
On another note though can anyone recommend a good reverse clicky switch for this?

IDK if he sells bare emitters or on boards but Convoy has SST-40 5000K. I have a new M21B with one and the tint/temp is pretty good. Like a XP-L HD with twice the power: a little bit green and some tint shit but more than good enough for a thrower and much nicer than the angry blue 6500K.

Anyone know if the first original batch of BSM springs, the larger ones, would be enough to sustain turbo on the L6 until step down without using a bypass or second spring? I wasn't sure how to solder the smaller and larger spring together on the tail switch, so I just soldered the larger one. So far no problems, but just wanting to make sure it can handle the max current all the time?
Max current on a stock L6 is only 5 or 6 amps. Nothing to worry about.
PS, there is no stepdown.

Just bypass it with a 20ga Turnigy lead and you won’t have to worry about it.

Since there is nothing else to do right now, I’ve been working on my L6 plans again. I had the idea to turn down the stock reflector and use it with the BridgeLux Vero29… This required some repackaging of the components and careful design but I think I can make it work. Math and data sheets suggest that this should be around 7500lm at about 35w. Limiting factors being the fact I’m boosting from ~12v to ~40v and the thermals of the L6 head.
However, I was thinking it would probably be much easier to turn the light into a triple or quad XHP70.2 light if I can find an appropriate optic. Previously, I had considered using a stupid quantity of LH351s but that would have required custom MCPCBs where with a big led like the XHP70.2, I could probably just use standard stars.
So far, I haven’t been able to find a simple round optic for a big LED.
Has anyone got a spare L6 XHP 70(.2) centering ring?
I ordered an L6 reflector from fasttech and just read in another thread that fasttech doesn’t give you a centering ring. I couldn’t find them on Simon’s store and Kaidomain has them in bundles of 5 which I really don’t think I’ll need. I also can’t seem to find the diameter of the hole.
Simon will give you some extra for the cost of shipping or can add them to an order.
