I have to confirm again.Cost price difference could be as high as $20 i heard. That was why they were hesitant in releasing XP-L option.

I would pay the difference for the extra performance. This light’s board is too complicated for me to change out the LEDs. Current king of the XP-L HI is V4 3C. It’s about 15% brighter than the SST-20. If the extra effort is done for pure Copper head, why not the best LEDs?

I would also prefer the XP-L HI option if possible, in this case the price don’t matter.
Somehow I have a problem with the sensitivity of the SST-20 with high currents above 7amps.
With how many amps. the ASTROLUX MF01 LEDs are energized, does anyone know that?
