Hey Vinh, right now I just don’t need another flashlight, but after viewing all your torture videos, this will be the next one I will be saving for.  You went through a lot of effort to prove just how tough a light it is and to me it would have to be the ultimate survival light, thanks man!

Thank you for the support!!

12 LED version should be ready to ship with SLN Mid October or so.

How do you fit 12 leds with optics into the opening? Seems it won’t fit if 4 emitters w/ optics look like a proper fit atm.

Only .25 pellet at ~40ft/lb punch through this relatively thick flashlight tube. Shooting SLN 6061 Sample tomorrow and this is quite discouraging. At first I was expecting it to survive .380 but now I am happy it lived .22LR and leave the 7075 for the .380.

.22lr is about 90ft/lb
.380 is about 150ft/lb
.32 HR Magnum 220ft/lb
9mm 320ft/lb
.327 Magnum 450ft/lb

U think SLN 6061 can take a .380?

I want to shoot hollow points to lessen “penetration” but them hollow points are loaded too HOT. hahahah

That light is a work of art! Thumbs Up
I’m curious now what you could do to mod the new BLF LT1 lantern project for a LT1vn high-output version. Big Smile

Vinh,

Absolutely beautiful, the machining is so very well done. I love the polished look, is there a clear anodize on that? Tip of the cap to you on pulling the entire project together, from inception to realizing the final piece, you should be very proud!!

I’m with DBSAR, am eagerly awaiting release of the group buy LT1’s, would love to see an LT1vn Smile

Congratulations again, and thank you for such thorough detailed releases of your step by step processes, is quite fascinating to follow. Keep it up.

Cheers!

No clear anodized yet. Just Raw 7075. I plan just to keep these few Raw. Will provide some clear anodized in the next run instead.
Thank you for the support!
