12V landscape lighting recommendation

I’m wanting to add 2 spot type lights to statue in my yard which is typically shaded. Originally I was planning on getting a solar setup, which is still in play. I realized that I have wiring for landscape lighting that is running from my carport to the area where I want to install the lights, so now I’m leaning more toward using 3 old 12V gel cell batteries that I have to power the lights. Still need the lights, and also a light sensor so the lights would come on at night. The 3 batteries are each rated at 10Ahr, and last time I tested them they delivered close to that. I was looking at a couple of 0.2W rated lights, so the batteries could power these for 12V*3*10/0.4= over 700 hours. So I would not need to charge very often which is nice.

Anyway, what products do you have experience with that might meet my needs?

Why not buy a decent solar panel like 1 square foot to charge your Gel batteries with a proper charge module?

Then hook the lights on the charge module load output, so they never over discharge your batteries, those modules come with colored LED so you can see if the batteries get slowly discharged every day in the winter

Yes, I like that idea. Still looking for a recommendation for the lights, and possibly the panel.
