*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

Right which is why I’m not going to, or even ever planned on, sending out a test PM.

I think for the most part that just going to the spreadsheet and visually verifying that one’s name is correct is good enough. But the extra step you suggested is definitely the definitive test.

I only found the CL30R so I assumed that was what he meant

If the group buy is on Amazon, will it still ship slow boat style from mainland China or is there already a supply present in the US for prime shipping?

First go to the spreadsheet link and verify your BLF name, and then send yourself a PM. I think sending everyone a practice PM, may cause a lot of confusion IMHO.

when I click on spreadsheet link I get “Page Not Found”.

What is the story with the “Batch 2” (with firmware corrections)?
What was corrected or changed and how does a person know which one to get or which one they will be getting?

Also I can’t use aliexpress. It doesn’t work on my computer. Where else can I buy one?

I think most things come on the slow boat, but some have been shipped in advance and stored in a warehouse here in the states. For this, I’m not sure it would be any faster to ship it to a warehouse first. Amazon fulfillment is pretty awesome though, so it might.

The link wasn’t properly formatted. Try this spreadsheet link instead.

I’m rooting for Amazon as many of us have reward points to offset the price even further :stuck_out_tongue:

As with many things, once done it looks easy. But when the drawing board is empty, or the page blank, it's really different. And it takes special experience to note it, congrats to you ActiveAI.

Great job to everyone involved!

Seeing it might be a tight fit on the schedule, you can also send them my current version of the french translation. Litteraly only 2 paragraphs remains untranslated (for which I have opened questions). Of course I might still find my own typos, or add little tweaks, etc. Like for sure I will need a proofreading session to consider the job fully done.

But as something like 98% (and it's a conservative figure) of the manual is translated, I believe it's quite better than nothing for all the french-speakers that will be in the firsts to order the LT1.

Depending on your discussion with Sofirn, you can also tell them they are offered the alternate option to wait a few more hours to get an industrial grade 100% done french translation. I'm quite positive it can be done today.

And thanks for the credit, I'm glad to be part of that :)

I Just joined to get one of these if it’s not to late , I would like 3 if that’s ok.

$50.00? Now that is far more palatable.

Sorry. It was a typo. Cl30R is what I meant.

I didn’t post that link but this is the correct link to the Interest list by name file and this is the link to the Interest list by entry number file.

It’s not too late and I added you for 3. You’ll see this reflected in next Sunday’s updates to post #1 and the linked files.

Can it hurt to go +2 and hit an even 10?
I’m going to assume the window to redeem these group buy codes will span at least 2-3 paychecks….
(yes, that means go +2 and hit an even 10)

The firmware updates are relatively minor and I bet that for most people they would never know the difference. I bet that most people will just set the tint to what they like and then ramp/step to the level of brightest that they need at that moment in time.

There will also be other options besides AlieExpress so I wouldn’t worry about that.

It can’t hurt to go even more than 2! Plus……10 puts you into a tie for the most LT’s with 2 others. Sure you don’t want to order another 5 or so :smiling_imp:

51 additions today and the day still has 6 hours to run. Up to 2,620 at the moment :money_mouth_face:

Interested in 1. This IS open to new members, correct? I browse here and on r/flashlight, but just joined. Thanks!

Please up my quantity to 2.
