Yes, very interested in this. I’d be in for 2 or more as long as price doesn’t go too much higher than a regular version

Interested.

I am definitely interested in one.

Interested. I am a new member of forum. When will it be aviable ?

Taking into account the last update is from May… I wouln’t be very optimistic. But I’d be happy to have been mistaken here.

As far as I know Sofirn's engineering is still about to develop the right boost driver to run it with Andúril. They are also in contact with Toykeeper to choose the right components.

Certainly hope they are still moving along with the project.

I hope this is legit, I’m in for two, at least.

Hellow my friend, some news of the project ? Or should buy Sp10s non anduril UI ?

I like how you think. For a while I was not interested at all in AA or 14500 lights, because the 14500/AA lights I found didn’t offer me any advantages over compact 18650 lights.

I like my DQG slim AA (1/2AA with extension tube) a lot. It has decent mode spacing, L-M-H order, and a tail clicky… and it’s even Ti hehe. The clip isn’t stellar; IMO all lights should screwed-on clips close to the end (D25C is a good reference for where the clip should attach, though the clip on mine has other weaknesses). My SC62 light has a great clip with the only issue being it’s mounted too far from the end of the light. If I got a “dream” AA light, I’d carry it EDC with a 14500. But it would be nice to have the option to load AA or NiMh AA if necessary. The DQG fills that for me, as it isn’t aimed at high outputs at all and still does nicely with a NiMh or fresh alkaleak, and quite well with lithium AA as well.

I actually disagree with you here about a AA light. Better emitters yes, but I would probably want lower outputs with a TIR. It would be nice for it to be easily moddable, but that always ends up costing additional length, and then for me at least it will quickly lose pocket time to compact 18650 lights (FW3A, SC62, D4). You’re right that it should still have a significant advantage of being thinner. Maybe that’s where the focus will have to stay. Something I like a lot about my DQG slim AA is that it’s so thin it almost fits inside my AA/14500 Thorfire’s battery tube.
