Emisar D3AA is available now

Any link to this D4GT?

I’m with chinooker D4V2/D4SV2 in full brass would be awesome to own I also have the fireflies e07 in full brass and love it

D4V2/D4GT in brass? Hell-yea! (D4S might be a bit heavy and bulky)
Copper patinas nicely, iffn protected from scars, kinda soft.
Ti has no qualities to suggest its use for flashlights other than durability. (threads grate/gall horribly)
Brass endures and proudly shows it’s heritage of use/abuse. Its threads glide together as if mating. :innocent:
No need for SS bezel as brass is plenty strong.
I really hope Hank is listening

That is great news!

Emisar D4V2 Ti is for sale now

Apart from the Cu+Ti host, the main upgrade of D4V2 Ti is the switch back light.

When the light is at OFF state, the switch backlight behaves the same as the aux LED.

When the light is at ON state, the switch backlight changes the brightness with the main LED.

Oh wow.

@Hank, would it be possible to get WW (3000k) switch LEDs?

That would be lovely.

That’s a interesting idea, I may need to collect the interest list and arrange some customs switch board later.

I like this idea Blue. And maybe hiCRI? Although I know this is not possible.

@Hank is the copper coated in any way?

Ordered, thank you Hank!

How much does it weigh?

Been waiting for the Ti to drop! Ugh now the usual quandry…which emitter? I have a couple lights with SST20 4000k, and I like the tint very much just not enough oomph. Then for a bit more power I got my D4V2 with SST20 5000k which is very nice above around 80% brightness, but much less and its a pretty nasty green. I also have a FW3T with XPL-HI 3D 5000k which I like a lot. Which leads me to consider XPL-HI 3A for this one. Any thoughts or comparisons?

Wow that Ti model is beautiful! :weary:
You always can go next level Hank

If you don’t have weights. Is it roughly similar to v1? I found that very heavy.

Looking at the pics, I’d say near the same, or a touch more with the mag base. The copper in the head is where it’s at, since Ti is poor heat sinking.

Ugh. It’s such a tank. Impractical for real use.

In 18350 mode, it’s actually heavier than the aluminum version.

Still tempted. But it will be a cool paperweight for me.

I ordered two regular D4V2 not long ago, oh well. Getting another one then!

Probably going for SST20 3000K since the others were 4000K and 5000K, and I love the warm tint.

Looks great! I’m seriously contemplating this as my first titanium light.

On a seperate topic, regarding keeping the forum well-organized:

When there is an update to make, I’d like to suggest that instead of overwriting the first post entirely with new content when you have news like this, either start a new thread, or keep the original content in the first post, and add the new content above or below it.

The same for thread titles.

I was briefly confused how I missed the announcement of the D4V2 Ti on June 18th. I suspect some others, especially new members will be even more confused.
