My choice for green would be the smaller photo of the green flashlight in the center.
This one had great response earlier in the thread when brought up.
Maybe I missed it but is it ‘confirmed’ that Sofirn IS definitely going to offer color options for the GB? If so and they want our input I think a traditional “coleman green” would be a good option. To me the ‘candy colors’ make the lantern look ‘toy-ish’ and cheap. It seems that is what some want but if those are the only options, I will probably choose black. JMO
Optional colors are nice but the downside is finish durability. Only black can be high voltage hard coat anodized. Does it matter? Depends on the person you talk to. I like colors and can live with a less bullet proof finish but some may not be willing to. I’m not even sure Sofirn does black using high voltage hard coat anodizing so it could be a moot point.
Why does information like this flow from an Austrian guy in China with his pet kangaroo instead of from the people who are actually involved in the LT1 project?
Personally, I think the green is too bright, and I’m not a huge fan of the gold either. Darker more subtle colors would be better IMO.
Agreed. I would buy all mine in black if the green and gold in the pic are the color choices.
These colors need top be more intense or more rich. The pics of the blaze orange anodized parts posted a few pages back were right on and I love the green flashlight in the middle of the pic just under the bright pink tube coming from the top.
I dunno, maybe he has some inside info and met with people actually involved in the project? People post updates from others posting on FB to keep us informed?
And why does a guy from US of A apparently think Austria is the country with kangaroos?
Your Australian, Be Australian. Excuse me kangaroo Jack. (Tropic Thunder)
