Are the lists in post 2 being updated? It currently only shows up to 2904 as of this posting, but the recent post above says we’re up to 2937? It said we must verify ourselves that we are listed correctly in the list, so just wondering if that requirement is still there… and if so, which list should we be checking? Thanks!

It gets updated on Sundays ,check back then. But Sig does a good job keeping track of adding interested/requests to be on the list.

I commented on his post recommending him to give the ill gotten lanterns to the blfer who’s name he used. Should have given him the chance to do his giveaway. Now he knows he will be deleted regardless of his intentions and he will just make another username and be here in secret.

Probably, but I dont think color options would be an issue on a lantern vs a flashlight. I think most users will will take pretty good care of the lantern and not toss it around like a flashlight. And what if you do scratch it… its just a ‘remember when Elrod knocked the lantern off the camper’ memory.

That green is close to some of their models, though Coleman had used several shades of green

It is the correct color for the included pic. The color picker tool was used to take a sample from the included pic of one of my Colemans.

That is only one color of the many greens Coleman have used over the years, (not just the one you posted above.

I like dark green, like the Colemans DBSAR has on the counter. (Too bad we can’t have a nice red-background ” BLF LT1” like the Coleman logo). As others have said, if they use candy-bright green (yuck!) I’ll stick with black.

Have you seen one darker(green) ……. I havent, and I didnt see one in your arsenal.
Im just suggesting the color of the lantern in my pic or a little darker. JMO

I thought that they were $49.99 and $62.99 (with batteries), however when I put those in at eBay as “Make Offer” with my BLF ID after following the links in posting per posting #7717, they got rejected. Did I misunderstand what I was supposed to do? I am on the list for 4 lanterns, but I only put in an offer on one without batteries and then one with batteries. I’m trying to follow through and do the correct thing to get these, but I’m not having any luck.

Any advice to help me to understand how to get lanterns will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks atobe. I missed that in the thread. I was just a bit excited to see the instructions and after checking my messages and finding nothing, I went the eBay route. I’ll go back to being patient, but I was hoping that was now over.

Someone apparently did exactly what you did, BUT they weren’t the blf user they claimed to be…
SO they got an order in on someone else’s reservation, so to speak. and they bragged about it here…
So it appears they are looking for a way to counteract the alex bronsons of the world

That is correct price, but as mentioned recently due to their loophole and flawed GB system, Sofirn has suspended Ebay & AE purchases until they can fix the issue, (hopefully soon) They been sending out GB codes slowly for the Amazon store, but is taking some time. We hope they can get the problem ironed out soon for their Ebay & Aliexpress stores.
