Free gift will be sent from lightake for Celebrated BLF founded One Year(finished )

I like to be a new customer for you in the new year!!

And that's in Portugal. You'd usually get much nicer weather than we do - we here probably have about 500 phrases for rain, most of them obscene.

The weather here is similar, just a bit colder. At least the rain washed away all the annoying snow. I was at work before the sun rose and it had set by the time I went home. In between, the big flashlight wasn't very visible. But one writer did say about my hometown, "The rainy season ends on the 31st December and starts on the 1st January."

Wow, Daniel, great campaign. Thank you for that!

I am not very often online but every time I come to this place there is a lot of new interesting and funny stuff which I don't even try to catch up with, BLF is really a great place!

About Lightake: I agree with others that a more extended Flashlight-DIY section would make Lightake more interesting. Even more important do I rate accuracy and reliability of given specs (be it flashlights, drivers, LEDs, etc). I definitely prefer to shop at a place where I can trust the information the seller is publishing even if it meant a slightly higher price compared to others due to the extra work that involves.

Happy new year everyone!

Happy birthday BLF! and Happy new years to everyone!

I purchased a few lights from lightake and I must say, I was very impressed with shipping time and packaging. I also appreciate the selection of P60 hosts that they carry, and the prices that they are offered at!

I quite appreciate that Lightake carries a number different name brands that don't really appear much on other Chinese sites (Mr Lite, Fenix, Olight, etc.), but I would like to see a little bit more in terms of programmable lights.

this seems to have turned into one, so, even though i have 12 hrs 56 mins left, a happy, healthy and prosperous 2011 to all of you!

The price could go down Manafont had a 50% price reduction. Something like that would be good.

More beam shots.

Images of the flashlight in detail.

Should it not be Small Sun ZY-A21? The Small Sun ZY-A1 is a diffrent light

This is a good idea for LT, the forum itself and for us.. thank you!

I think you should sell DIY parts, and for example, Maglite DIY parts, like dropins, drivers, 26500 and 32600 batteries and so. There is almost nothing of that in chinese markets with International free shipping and low prices..

If you do this, LT will be the most flashaholic site, and you will get more and more customers from all around the world.

If it is possible, include more images of the items with more detail and, images of dismantled flashlights.

^ I agree! get some DIY parts for mag lights. more DIY parts are necessary for great business with this website!

LT has some good flashlights, but not enough parts for me. Prices seem good too, and feedback is good (i honestly have not bought nething yet, due to the fact im low on money)

Also, more D sized led lights!

and maybe some good LED floodlights!

btw a few hours and it will be 2011 on the east coast of america!

hopefully i can celebrate with a new flashlight??? lol

I think people will be less likely to buy expensive light like Fenix from you because they can but the same lights from american sites for similar prices. The American sites have better customer service.

As an example Feni TK50 on your site is $85.95,. the 4Sevens site is $85.

Your USP on these lights has to be Price!!!

I ordered a pair of Romisen RC-29s and they arrived recently. My only complaint is the requirement for a signature at delivery. I realize that delivery confirmation is necessary, but this means I have to make an unpleasant, time-consuming trip to the post office to pick up the item. I wasn't in any hurry, and I expected a pretty long wait. No problem there.

I order electronic goodies from HK fairly often, and they never require a signature.

I'm not sure if there's an easy solution for this on your end, but it can be a significant factor here.

Happy new year, all!

Sorry ! Bit tired !

XM-L and more XM-L ... More XR-E R2 ...

If you want to sell lights , sell XM-L equipped lights ..

I dont know who makes the Ultrafire A20 ? [ HERE ] but a lot of people sell it , I moded mine to XM-L , and just love it now ...

So I would suggest a XM-L A20 for 2011 ...

[ I say I dont know who makes it as Ultrafire say they dont make it ]

Yes, XM-L are all the rage now and are expected to completely replace P7,MCE. Also shenzen-wholesale carry many unique flashlight designs so why not try to find some new hosts to play. It seems many offer minimally changed flashlights that look the same. There are a zillion of L2, 501B, C1, C2,C8, tr1200 knockoffs that makes about 60% off all budget lights in the market. Try to get something new more "unique"...

Let say:

These are hardly to be found anywhere at most popular retailers. I believe that at least a few of those would be bought as soon they get to a seller that does freeshipping at a reasonable price.

There is a severe lack of diffrenet goods around.

The Sunwayled L10A looks very nice to me. What will be my first new torch of 2011? Hmmmm.......

Most probably I will never buy from lightake again.
the quality control did not function well at my case (second buy),
and later on lightake return policy didn’t work well either.
however as appreciation to znmzdx, who is genuine member at BLF,
and i think he appears to be an honest salesman.
here is my advice:
before spending big amount of money at places like lightake,
I’m personally preferring to buy few less expensive things(mostly 3)
to check if the place is trustworthy, if things where going well,
bigger budget will be spent at that place.
Over the last few months I spent about 200$ on flashlights
lightake got 12% from that budget,
At my second buy there (as they say at NG Channel) disaster strikes,
lightake sent me clearly visibly defective flashlight with half o-ring showing
out of the tail-cup blowing at the wind, and the led dom itself was so damaged
that the die part of the led is hardly visible.
their customer service representative replied to my photo attached post
that nothing is out of the ordinary with that led.

lightake:

  1. It is unnecessary to send defective items to your costumers.
  2. If your quality control fails, tray to solve the mess honorably.
  3. try to understand that returning costumers exist out there, and worth the wile.
  4. giving presents is nice, people like presents, but they prefer reliability better.

Happy New Year my fellow flashaholics and I wish you much success in the New Year Lightake.com!

As far as improving your site I think you should get more selection of Ultrafire brand lights. I like your sites Ultrafire lights better than any I have got from DX so far. Also more selection of Trustfire brand too! You might also want to look around at some of your competators sites too and match or beat there cheapest price. I know some of your Tank007 lights are twice the price as your competators.

I think the best deals on your site are two of my favorite lights which I bought from LT!

Another suggestion is to not change to cheaper and lower quality suppliers once the first run of a brand is gone. Please keep quality suppliers even if this does mean a little higher price as long as you always prove to have the best quality suppliers I will buy from you!!

I have bought quite a few lights from you and have never had any problem but the only thing I suggest to you is make sure you always send the correct light!! Some vendors will just send a red flashlight when a black one was ordered that is just wrong, they should always email and ask if red instead of black is ok. Like I said I have never had a problem with Lightake so keep up the good work and thank you for this fun gift game you are doing for us!!!

since november the big one has been putting a lot of light on my city... huge output that makes everyday bright and at 32 celsius most of the days!!!

I expect to go to beach in next weeks and i'll take some shoots at night there for us.

I know that here we get better weather that you. Specially in the south. Here in the north, we are having quite a strange change in the weather. We got on December days with max temp 5ºC and the next day it would rise to 20ºC, and the next 4ºC, the next 15ºC. That's weird and bone aching. Wouldn't mind rain or cold, but not changing that much.

It wasn't like this a couple of year's ago.(10-15) Climate change? Probably....

(25 to go.... )

Indeed. Mod parts seem to be made in small batches, but people are always looking for such things.

Low resistance Mag battery adapters, 6AA-2D, 9AA-3D, 12AA-4D at good prices would sell very well. Preferably with contacts rated to 10 amps.

The only options available just now are horribly expensive but any plastic moulding outfit ought to be able to make these for very little money.

Short Mag tail springs, lenses and the like ought to sell well.

Multiple cell holders for balance charging would be nice. My fabrication skills are very limited. Something that would allow for balance charging of 1-6 18650 cells would be nice. Not sure how large the market for such a gadget would be.

Good chargers - something like the AngelEyes which seems to have disappeared from the market.

Well, that's my shopping list :)
