Ah I just ordedered from them yesterday cos I was going to save less than $1 instead of ordering from goodluckbuy.

Whats the quickest way to cancel the order?

I went to my account and clicked cancel, no refund and no store credit.

Looks like I'll have to use their crappy contact system.

You can cancel the order online, but you have to deal with customer service to actually get your money back. I've found they are pretty helpful on that at least.

3 of 3 orders so far with DX (better delivery percentage than DD :p). They even shipped the Mini Pig 2 LEDs Flashlight I had ordered although their discount system was not functioning as intended.

The "Prepare Shipment" stage can take up to a week even if they have the items in stock, so that might be a bit slow compared to some other places.

There seems to be a number of negativity against DX. But I have to add, that I'm quite impressed so far. My order even arrived quicker then my order from intl-outdoor.

Well, 3 days to go to 45 day limit. Got my order but parts were missing.

Opened a claim on it, let´s see if I get my money or stuff back...

I have been lately ordering just ONE item (pop-lite headlamps) from DX but it now seems I should find another supplier for them also.

Everything else already comes from various other places.

They are slow and do not honor the deal (they just refunded a mispriced item after 1 month...), will never ever deal with them again...

Finally my batterycases arrived!

Took 138 days.

I will NEVER order there again!

One package was lost. The replacement arrived after 30 days, which is okay for a replacement.

In the meantime I ordered 2 products which went to a backorder/on hold kind of state. I cancelled through the web interface, but nothing happened. After contacting them for not receiving the shipment, both were refunded.

I'd say they are unreliable at the moment, but honest. It will take some time, some success stories, or an excellent deal before I start ordering again.

Definite AVOID if at all possible.

Took me 2 weeks to explain that the item has been returned to them. After those two weeks they promised a refund within 7 days. It's now 2 months after their promise, and still no refund.

They are a joke, not a shop.

Since 2010, I have placed 32 multiple orders with DX; usually receiving packages within 30 days. Some items came DOA but they were all well taken care of by CS. I got some replacements, some discounts and some converted to store credits.

But after 3rd Quarter of 2011, there was some weather change at DX. One drop-in module ordered in Sept 2011 was finally converted to store credits in April 2012. That was after several ding-ding-dong-dong with explanations and promises.

This my latest: Ordered a smartphone on Dec 21 2011. Opened a ticket on Feb 14 2012; CS assured me DX will re-stock in "two weeks' time". Closed ticket on Feb 17.

Three weeks later I opened another ticket(March 04). CS responded on March 19 indicating order is under packing. Shipped on March 22. Received my smartphone (finally) on April 9. Customs Department released it after I paid "Import Permit".

Opened a new ticket as some accessories were missing. CS responded on Apr 12 requesting for photo evidence. I replied same day and again DX asked for more info. I answered together with some more pictures of missing items and as of time of this writing,(>7 days already) DX has not responded.

DX is getting unreliably slower and slower as time goes by. However, I am not writing DX off completely as of now because they had been honest all this while. I have pushed the "pause" button, though. Lets wait and see.

I received a refund after two tickets. After cancelling my order I waited about 2 weeks until I opened the first ticket. First one was closed with the promise of refund after 7 days, after 14 days I opened another one. They said refund was issued and will take 7 days.. as they didnt close the ticket immediately, I responded that this was the second time they promised that.. few minutes after that, I received a "payment refunded" email from paypal.

Just stick to it and keep nagging them. They surely want to do business again and cant really afford to piss off customers..

I recently placed an order with registered air mail, lets see how that goes..

I'd say they are definitely AVOID now. They had their issues bet were cheap.

Now they're just useless.

Fun fact: I placed two orders on 25.03, only 1 minute apart. One registered, the other regular. Regular showed up today, stamp says 16.04.

They are low on stock. If they have credit problems they can not get shipments from their suppliers. It could be that they are in a "Death Spiral" Just because they get alot of orders (low prices) does not mean they are making money. To operate they way they are is not very effient and therefore not profitable.

Registered arrived today. According to DHL, it arrived in Germany on 23.04. Stamp says 08.04.

Like the title says " I'm Torn" when it comes to DX.

I've placed 2 orders with them. 1 order was a Success, the other order was a flop. I want to buy from them,but their reputation tells me not to !

They are the only ones that can fix the problems. Whether they do or not remains to be seen.

I am really hoping for the best.

They are slow. But they do reach me. I think I would buy if their services improve.

They ship about as fast as a turtle.
