Guys, all of us who placed prder as soon as iz became available (V2), are we getting raised or flush button switch?
That option is only now available....
I ordered mine a couple days ago when the option was available on the website.
Personally, I chose the flush-switch. The raised switch offers additional protection against pocket activation. But with Anduril, it’s less important than with the D4v1’s rampingIOS. Anduril has protections to prevent pocket burning.
I have a D4v2 with the raised switch ring. It works, but the upper edge of the ring is a bit sharp. I much prefer my home made raised ring constructed from a filed down nickel-plated brass finishing washer, which has a comfortable rounded feel at all angles.
That’s what i was thinking to make my own switch ring!
Is the switch bezel screwed or press fit?
I recently contacted Hank about the raised retaining switch option and he added it within the hour. Got mine ordered!
Press fit, but still replaceable if you’re careful!
It seems like every model is getting a V2. Any word on if there will be a D1 V2?

If we order the pocket clip, will it be loose in box or attached to light?

Damn these look nice, but am I right in reading that this weighs double of the regular D4V2?
Also kinda worried over time and use, the white rubber on the switch will turn yellow/brown
What color are the switch LEDs? I can’t tell if they’re pink, white, or blue from the photos.
I’m guessing it’s the same as the normal Emisar lights, where the pocket clip just comes as a separate clip which you can clip onto your light
The switch LEDs are the same as the aux and mimic the behavior when the light is off. When the light is on, a white LED ramps up and down with the main LEDs. Not sure about the blinkies though. That would be sweet on Candle or lightning mode.
I second this, ordered mine as soon as it was available, but had no option for the raised switch retaining ring. I’d EDC this one if it wasn’t for the button being exposed.
Just got mine Monday. WOW! Probably my favorite light at the moment.
The switch LEDs (4 of them) are white. They ramp up and down with the main emitters and it is a nice touch.
