Hellow I need suggestions to buy AAA flashlight. I analyze several options.
Sofirn c01s
Lumintop tool aaa
Lumintop edc01
Lumintop IYP07
Thurnite Ti3 v2
Jetbeam jet U.
And I admite new options. Thanks.
Or maybe I should wait to new mode option of sofirn Moonlight – Low – High / High – Low – Moonlight (2 mode groups)
(Price,brightness, tint, battery life….)
it depends what u want ? i have the lumintop tool aaa in nichia, its a very nice light but not very bright. Other good light is the olight i3t.
Sofirn c01s if u can find it is probably a good option also.

The Tool AAA with Nichia, as mortuus said, is a good versatile pick. I have one and love it to bits. Although they don’t seem to make the aluminium one with a reflector anymore, and I have no familiarity with the Osram LEDs they’re using now.
Tool AAA Ti. The click switch on the normal one is too easy to operate unintentionally
Thanks for your answers friends, Maybe sofirn sp10s is too big to keychain. I think that C01s is a great option.
One of my favorite EDC flashlights is the single AAA/14500 BLF 348:
Here are some of its features:
Makes a great gift!
YouTube review.
It would be interesting to hear your final selection along with the rational behind it. I see that you only have three posts so "Welcome to BLF!"
Thanks is very nice
For more options, go to GearBest.com, BangGood.com, or AliExpress.com and search for key chain lights. I expect that all three sites ship to Spain.
available today:
the Copper Tool w Nichia from drop.com
I carry the Olight i3T EOS on my wallet and find it to be a reliable 2 mode flashlight!
It is Low-High, cool white LED, and it is a physically robust light.

Looks like the OSRAM version will be $10 on 11/11. 5/32/110 lumens, no 10440 support. Has anyone seen the OSRAM version?
More Photons!
I bought a very cheap (sells for $3.99)
U`King AAA flashlight and I like it a lot
it was a flash sale purchase / bought for .99 cents delivered
it is bright and it feels well made,
the tail switch has only one mode – on – offguessing it is about 120 lm (Ebay listings state 3000-3999 Lumens)…lol
I keep it by the bed
I actually liked it enough that I bought a second one

I probably would opt for the non-magnetic version and pay only $8.82 per light on 11.11. I would really like to know the OSRAM LED tint and beam quality? And wish it came in blue! Thanks!
I have one of those AAA Tool Version2
It has a nice pebbled Tir that produces a smooth broad beam.
The Osram is not High CRI, but on mine the LED was changed to High CRI, since that is the only type of LED I choose to use.
That is why I suggested the Nichia version of the Copper Tool..
Nichia = High CRI
What is the approx. color temperature of the Tool AAA OSRAM? Thanks!
Edit:
I realized that I purchased a non-magnetic Tool AAA OSRAM (for $7.60) during an Amazon US lightening deal a few months ago. The color temperature is cool white (@ 6500K) with a noticeable blue tint - pretty much a deal killer for me. The one I have stays in the box and will be gifted some day.
**I like Titanium as I’m around salt water. I picked up 3 of the Massdrop (now it’s just Drop) Blue Titanium AAA Flashlight at
$35 each. If you don't want to pay that much then there is the Astrolux Ti3A Titanium Nichia 219C for
$20 (twistys). Doesn’t Astrolux also have a nice non-titanium AAA for @$7-8?I’m happy with all of them.**
Cu-Tool Nichia nice but too big.
AAA Tool bad tint.
C01S is a heckuva light. Small, straightforward UI, nice beam/tint.
Friends What is your opinión of Lumintop edc01 ?
I like it as long as you don’t mind Med – High – Low rotation. And the new ones added on-time memory. And I think it only comes in cool white. I have some but have swapped emitters. And the UI isn’t my favorite but I’m flexible, especially considering the small size and price.
The version of the EDE01 I own seems to be a Tool AAA in a different case. They have the same: three modes (L, M, H) with the same outputs, the same OSRAM LED, the same beaded lense, the same CW tint. The only real difference I can see is case style and the switch type. The EDC01 (picture below) is twisty and is thus shorter.
And here is the Tool AAA:
I own them both but don't use either one because of the off-putting (to me) bluish-white color temperature. With different LEDs, they would be great lights IMHO.
ActiveAI thanks for your answer, and nice to meet you. Also, Thanks to everyone for your answers. Thanks for the welcome in blf.
I think that BLF 348 is a great option, but maybe a bit long 8,9 cm, for the keychain. In 8.9 cm also is Sofirn sp10s.
I would say if you can find one get the Fenix E05. Sure it’s not a new model but it’s one of the best aaa flaslight. I have the Fenix E05, Lumintop Tool, Sofirn C01S and i would take the E05 anyday. In fact, it’s my main edc light during the day attached to my keychain. C01S is also a good light but the drawback is it only has 2 modes so either you would get not enough light or you can only use the light for 30 minutes before battery run out.
I own and really enjoy the Sofirn C01S. The tint and high CRI on it might seem like a novelty at first but its something that you start to really appreciate over time. The build quality is really good too.
Depending on whether you’re in a hurry or not, they are planning to release the (IMO superior) low/high mode group in the future. Might be something to keep an eye on.
reylight pineapple mini is also a nice light, its in copper tho.

Just FYI, the current BLF348 doesn’t use 219b anymore. They’ve been 219c with worse tint for almost two years now.
Maukka, what is your preferred small (i.e. AAA) light? Thanks!
I carry the Yuji Sofirn C01. Yeah, that’s not available anymore either
2nd choice is 219b Lumintop Tool Cu with Ti electronic tail switch.
Stellar little light, I love mine. For keychain carry I would look at the Thrunite Ti3 or Ti XPL as I prefer twisties there. I like the Lumintop Stainless Worm on my keys but sometimes flip flop to the Ti XPL.
This is a beautiful light with great mode spacing! So I just purchased one in warm tint - with $3.95 flat rate shipping. Love that it is a twisty and only 67.4 mm in length. Thanks!
Edited:
FWIW, an extra 20% off the $20 sale price is available with code 20%. Ships to UK. France. Spain. USA. Canada. Germany. Italy. Japan. China. European 23 countries. Free shipping is available at least for US customers, but I don't know the threshold.
The 219c is no worse than the stock emitters; I very much prefer it over the cree rainbow.
As for 6500k Osram it makes blue objects look really good, but not anything else.
My current rotation is Thrunite Ti3 (with 219b SW45k) and C01 3500k; not available to buy.
Thrunite has lowest low mode but the stock emitter is ugly. If tint and cri is a priority than any of the Lumintops that have Nichia or the C01S SST20. The size of C01S is not much bigger than most AAA keychains lights, it has a well thought form factor.
