[♛ FreemeGB-NOV] Haikelite HT70 4*SST70 6500k 17000 lumens 18650 Flashlight - ALIVE!

Thanks for the code but I will wait for NW.

No, those cells have a 10A limit. When in series it’s still 10A. (Wait, are they saying the protection circuit is set for 20A? I remember seeing these cells a little while back but the protection circuit was set at 10 amp. Maybe they recently upgraded? If so, then 8 of these cells should be able to do 80A before the protection kicks in. Plus these are cheap. I think the 15A Imalents are like $15 each.)

It’s when they are in parallel that you can add up the amperage. So 8 of those would provide 40A 80A. That is plenty for this light.

Do keep in mind that you get the double whammy of extra resistance due to it being a high capacity cell and extra resistance due to the protection circuit.

So 8 high drain, unprotected cells should produce higher output. If your not looking for max output, then those will work fine.

Jon's protection circuitry used to be 13A, last I seen for the GA cells - I bought as set of 4 of these way back. These newer style/look GA protected cells have been bumped up apparently. Jon @LionWholesale has one of the best PC designs around, and at a decent price - he even spec's the protection IC and FETs right there in the listing.

We were given clues that the UI is a ramping from Peralriver’s video.

It is confirmed to be Narsil found on this website:FREE ME WEBSITE

I agree with earlier posts that the throw is probably overrated. 1500 meters, 562.5 kcd - it's amazingly accurate, not 1510 meters, not 1492 meters, but 1500 meters exactly --- hhhmmmm.

As said earlier, this light is probably re-using one of TA's FET+resistor bank driver designs, so yes - NarsilM is the firmware, and yes - it should be possible to port Anduril to it. If I had time I would do it myself, but I just don't have much spare time lately.

FWIW I contacted Banggood via Live chat and Emma said NW will be available November 28th.Sounds a lot better than December 31st.

“As I could check the product is expceted to be restock till November 28, 2019.”….her grammatical error and all!

Hold on a second. She needs to investigate further! Maybe she is confused about Restocking the light VS. Restocking/getting the NW LED? Then again, the lights[6500K] are Not out of stock so maybe she is right.

“I have forwarded the request on urgent priority bases to our team and they will look into this and you will get the information within 48-72 hours. I request you to please wait for the given time period”.

“We are sure about it, but I have forwarded your concern for more clear informtion.”

My investigation is complete.

Mine, shipped!

Sweet! I totally forgotten about this light.

I’m still waiting for the NW version, which should be available from the day after tomorrow (28th) if the latest information still stands - very interested in this light, but probably won’t be able to afford it until after xmas (and obviously only if they manage to get the 5000K SST70s by then).

Not NW yet. [quote=Flying Luminosity]

I know, I’ve been checking every day!

@ Flying luminosity-The quote above was from post #55 on November 10th.

In my post #64 Banggood told me November 28th. It does not surprise me that, that was incorrect.

It looks like we just have to wait until December 31,basically next year until we get NW.

The positive is we get to see members measurements from the CW as members get them, probably soon. That will ultimately determine if I get it.

If it is not at least 12000L/400Kcd/1265M throw I will not get it. It is advertized as 17000L/1500Meters of throw/~565Kcd.

Interested in a coupon if it isn’t too late.

even if its doing 13k lumens or so, it still looks like a pretty good deal for money…. so from the looks it probably throws in theory 1,3km or so…

whats the free gift ?

Still waiting for members to get their CW and test it. From scrolling through the posts looks like some got shipped on 11/25,18 days ago. Maybe some before that! They should be arriving soon.

IF 12/31 is a true date for NW to be available, looks like the end of January would be when we receive it.For obvious reasons, I want as much winter time left to enjoy it. :sunglasses:

You are Right, I got my HT70CW a few days ago and measured 255.600 Lux and 12.680 to 13.500 Lumen (powered by 8x Samsung-30Q button top battery).

Greets

Thanks, that’s pretty much what others were expecting. I wonder whether using 8x VTC5A would result in an increase in brightness?

my guess using sony high drains should give a bit more lumens.
