What game are you playing/looking forward to and on what platform?

Diablo 3 on PC and Asphalt 9 on shitter.

Lol sp5it, That made me laugh out loud! isn’t that where the best gaming takes place!?

Sure, it is

Star Wars Fallen Order and Diablo 4.

8 Ball Pool 8 Ball Pool: The world's #1 Pool game
Remember to adjust your mice sensitivity to a minimum and play in full screen mode.

Currently nothing. Really looking forward to The Last of Us 2 (PS4). And although there’s not much news nor release date available I’m really, really looking forward to GTA 6, most likely on PS5 for me.

Halo: MCC to finally be released for PC, and the full release of V17 for Squad.

Did you play the first few of Halo’s? (on xbox) we liked/played it that much I went and bought a projector lol, Sundays was Halo day for 5 of us round my house for about 5 years. Seems like a lifetime ago now, probably because it was!

Halo 1 PC online. Epic.

I was playing a lot of XCOM Enemy Unknown on my PC before I had to wipe it. Phenomenal game, is all I have to say.

Other than that, just some (heavily modded) classic Doom. If anyone cares, check out the Valiant megawad by skillsaw.

D1? D2?

I used to collect .wads, some were great, others sucked.

One thing I absolutely hated was being dumped into the middle of an open arena, no shelter to speak of, with like 20 Goat-Men or 15 Rocket-Guys, and only a few ammo-boxes scattered around.

“Ooooh, tough level…” :confounded:

Only when freshly baked, I feel like jumping on the PC to play the only game I ever play these days: Counter-Strike Global Offensive.

Once in a looong while (like once in a year or 2), I dabble with M.A.M.E. and other arcade emulators. I got Virtual Pinball up and running last winter. There’s a Stranger Things table made from scratch that is really cool. It was almost made into a real table, but the licensing deal fell through or something.

World of Tanks on the PC and Swiped on phone.

D2 mostly. Aside from Valiant, my absolute favorite, I’ve been playing Sunlust (it’s extremely high level difficulty, but you’re eased into it in the first half, and ain’t no shame in playing it on Hurt Me Plenty), the very old Daedalus Alien Defense by TeamTNT, Community Chest 3 and 4, and Memento Mori for that classic feel of the 90s’ map design. I’ve yet to download Eviternity, it’s a work of art. Toss in a few fun quality-of-life mods like Random Deaths & Decoration by Glaice/Mr. Chris/Armaetus, a new screen like NCHUD, and it’s a fresh coat of paint on an old barrel of laughs.

And speaking of D1, it’s about time I downloaded Sigil :smiling_imp:

P.S.: I’d also be playing Deus Ex by now if only I could be arsed to get Steam downloaded and running. Eh, I’ll get to it.

And for those that care:

There was one I liked, big “spiral staircase” in the middle. So many polygons it brought my laptop to its knees, would get frame-updates like once every second or so. :open_mouth:

If you’d go up the staircase sideways to limit what’s in view, it played nicely.

There was one I liked, lots of “warehouses” in the middle “city”, driftwood-trees and a bunch of Flaming Heads around the periphery. “Easy” if you were systematic about it, but also easy to make a wrong move and get into a lot of trouble.

’Though lots of them had bugs in ’em, eg, get a Flaming Head stuck in a wall so that you only see one horn going back’n’forth along the wall as it “paced”. So forget about 100% kills unless you’d phase through walls and chainsaw it or something.

One thing that always bugged me was that if you were way high on a ledge, like 50’ high, a Pink Puppy (Frankenberry) could be down below and “bark” at you to do serious damage, but there’s zero way to shoot down at him. Talk about one-sided…

Lotta .wads loooooved to exploit that.

Whoa… what’s that, a mash-up of like, everything?

Just skimmed, was getting seasick.

I always took my time, 100% kills, max ammo, grab all the goodies, find all the secrets.

The best gaming experiences I’ve ever had were Halo 1 and 2 split screen with friends, combined with Xbox live back when everyone used mics and weren’t screaming obscenities at each other (at least not as much/only when deserved  ). What a time.

I remember the mods where you could pilot Scarab walkers and fly bombers dropping nukes on them, good times.

Planetside 2 on PC, the largest scale FPS so far.

The learning curve is steep, although the developers are working on that, but once I got the hang of it, the scale and open nature of the combat really hooked me.

I'm playing Persona 5 on PS4.

I really like Japanese-style RPG's, and I mostly play PS3 and PS4 games.

I usually play older games while I watch TV, but their graphics aren't that impressive.
