Zooming Model List (2018 Updated) Tell us about your newest zoomie!

Yeah, I got the Nicron N81 because I saw it here and liked the look of it - and the blinky modes are part of the main sequence.
However, I’m okay with that since it doesn’t have mode memory, and also doesn’t have a lot of brightness modes - if I missed the one I wanted, it’s simple enough to turn the light off and try again.

Anyone used the Wuben L60, which will be on sale for $25.83 on 11/11 and could be even cheaper with coupons

The Wuben LT35 Pro looks interesting too but is not on sale.

The reflector is painted white instead of black. I’m guessing it minimize lumen loss.

The L60 is on sale for ~$18 at amazon

There’s not much search results for L60 but The LT35 (not pro) looks remarkably similar to L60

I was going to order it for that price but turns out the code doesn’t work. Guess it is expired. The LT35 Pro looks like a smaller head version of the L60.

Cheap 18650 light with side switch and USB port:

This seems to be one of the smallest AA zoomies, 20x90 mm:

Would like to get one but a little cheaper.

First of all, thanks for updating this thread when you find stuff like this.

This particular light (host) has my interest indeed. I’ve been on the lookout for a E-switch zoomie with a USB port on the side. I’ve seen a few with the USB port on the tailcap but I want it on the side in direct contact with the driver as I’ve developed drivers with support for flashing by USB port. It’s probably a junk host as it is but with luck maybe it can be modded.

I’m glad to see that this is useful.

Skywolfeye B17. 2*AA penlight with 19 mm diameter according to specs. If that’s true, it would make it the slimmest AA zoomie I’ve seen so far. I wonder if we’ll see a single cell variant…actually I wouldn’t be surprised if the unbranded light that I posted a while ago was just that. Though it was listed as 20 mm and I actively searched for a 1*AA skywolfeye like that - and I failed to find it.

Are they any zoomie flashlight that worth putting osram white flat

There are quite a few….and far too few at the same time. The question is what is your prefered format.
Size? Battery? Push pull or twisty? Other important perks?

I like the looks of this one
At around $10 I wouldn’t expect much from it, I just like the way it looks

Whoa, I could be OB1 Kenobi with that thingy!

OB1 Kenobi would use one with 18650 cell

Big head Xanes x915 P10 at Bangood

That's bigger than a 1504, and with a side switch that's hopefully an e-switch. Interesting...

Also available (for less ;-) money) in AliExpress:

  1. @ Lighting Market
  2. @ Claite Warm Lighting

The car will not be bad if it is pressed…

In specifications it reads:

Switch mode | 4 mode: 100% - 75% - 50% - flash

Looks good but replacing the driver could be a challenge. Nothing is said of the emitter but guess most people here don't really care. :-D

Interesting host. I wonder what that 7 die LED is.

More comments:
BG site shows it’s a powerbank but the Ali shops don’t. These may be different variants.
It’s unclear whether 80 mm is the diameter of the head or of the lens.
Twisty action.
At this size they could really fit a battery larger than 18650.

The 1504 is listed as 71 mm head diam, and the HL35 as 72 mm. So at 80 mm for the head diam, it's the biggest aspheric I know of, but hard to say how much diameter of the lens is lost compared to a 1504. The 1540 has a glass lens, this one is plastic but plastic isn't necessarily a bad thing. For $40, it's probably worth it to check it out. Appears to have a large pill area cavity. The single 18650 is a bit disappointing though, but still, using a VTC5D would probably be a good option for a SBT90.2,if it can take a larger MCPCB.

Hhmm. After looking at the 1504, the lens is fairly wide set in there. This light loses with the bezel flaring out, and a retaining ring, but it's not grossly reduced, but reduced some.
