Is This For Real

I'm not expecting the light to work, I'd just be happy to get it and have one to take apart and work on. If I get it and it works, I'd be really amazed.

tried it out. im sure its too good to be true but I believe the ebay buyer protection will work if needed

The seller goes from selling key chains to this? It's not even a 4500 lumen light. This seems like a bust. And yes that battery is toast.

Well I hope it goes good for those that did jump on it. i'm still debating. But again you are protected through paypal. It's just the matter of the waiting game if it goes wrong.

The guy (seller) has been on ebay since June 2011, but ALL his feedback is in the last 30 days. Methinks he is bogus, and this is going to cost PayPal some $$ Almost all of his feedback is on items that cost less than a buck.

I would think the scam would be even better and more believable if he asked $55 or so, plus he would make a lot more money...

this sounds like a "get a few feedbacks then pull a grift" type of account..

Me thinks you are right, but I did it anyway.... >)

I'm skeptical as usual, but I had to try it.

Worth it for just the host if everything else is NFG. I can deal with fixing in a new switch for AMC's.

I hope this isn't all misrepresented and we find out it's only the charger...

yeah 20$ isn't a big deal..if you can afford to lose it who cares..hopefully ebay/paypal can cover all 100+ people that get screwed if it's a scam..

.

There is no way this is real. I'd put my life savings on that, but I'm not a betting man.

..

If it is a scam, between all his auctions, he's sold about 400+ items thus far.

if the picture is anything than its a pile of lights that probably all have poped batteries. hopefully that means we can just toss in good batteries. if not the add states 100% brand new so buyer protection should be easy

Don't hold me to any of this if it goes bad. I posted it to ask, but I figured some would go ahead and take the plunge like I did on the HID flashlight and SkyRay that the other seller I posted that got the boot. But again you never know. And if your protected it's worth a shot I guess.

Sure won't... thanks for the heads-up. We'll see what happens.

We all know that there is zero possible explanation for a seller to be selling merchandise like this at that price under these conditions. If the price were set where there was even a remote possibility that he was breaking even, then I'd probably jump on it. But why would a seller sell for a loss? Unless it's hot ... but even then, I imagine shipping would eat a lot of sale.

But like you all said, you will only have to put up with the aggravation of dealing with Ebay or Paypal and not really lose any money. I can see the temptation.

actually, that could work out quite well. one of dr. jones' drivers for mode control and a couple others for more current?
