Convoy s2+ sst20 4000k for $10.99

Pretty cheap for a well known quality flashlight.
Gotta wait for it to ship tho

Who very cheap. Thanks for sharing.

Have a few on the way. It’s a real bargain considering biscotti firmware driver and AR glass. SMO refs are also less common.

Yea, it’s hard to believe they’re making a profit sometimes.
They’re also great as gifts. Especially since you can choose the output they’re getting ( 3,4,6,8 * 7135)

Nice find. Thank you!

If I couldn’t already open Convoy America over here, I’d be tempted to get a few…

SMO reflector is not a good choice for an S2, I wish I had noticed that detail before buying. If I had bought this as a gift it would have been kinda embarassing, considering how much better the beam profile from the original S2 orange peel reflector looks in comparison. The body has a slight blueish tint, barely noticeable. It’s of course still a great deal for the price, just not as well rounded a product as the regular XML2 S2+.

I have to disagree, the new SST20 SMO are awesome, way better than the xml2 OP, and much better than the XPL-HI SMO with the ugly donut hole.
The SST20 SMO have a nice beam pattern and throws well too.
SST40 SMO has a good beam pattern too.
Have both and love them SST’s

My S2+ has a SMO reflector. With a 219C, it works more than fine, super nice balanced beam.

Here ya go, almost free solution.

God bless Justin, still helping us from beyond the afterlife.

Look at my S2+’s beam profile with the smooth reflector.

It’s very easy and inexpensive to switch out a smooth reflector to an OP with the Convoys. I haven’t had too much success with a smooth reflector in my S2+s and prefer OP. I did put a smooth reflector into 1 of my S2+, but it has a frosted lens since the Nichia LED had a crack in the dome and caused an artifact. The OP reflector and frosted lens made the beam too wide, so the smooth reflector helped give it some throw.

Original OP reflector and bad LED on the left, smooth reflector with frosted lens on the right:

When you choose to ship from USA Warehouse it goes from $10.99 to $17.99
