Are these any good and more importantly are they real?

I think they are although I only have tested four that I purchased from Hank at Intl-Outdoor. Capacity was right at 2500-2600mah. So far so good.
The one's I received were manufactured in Aug. 2011 if I read the date code correctly. (P30A)
Hmm. . . interesting. Review sounds good. It doesn't say protected or unprotected. Which is it? I'm guessing unprotected.

Looking at them I would say un-protected, which is fine by me. Seems like a good review.

Yep, unprotected. Discharged down to 3.0v with no problem, low voltage cut-off supposedly set at 2.75v. Although I prefer to re-charge any cell when they reach about 3.6v - 3.8v. Store long term at 3.8v.
So the question is would you get these, or spend a little more on the Xtars?

The new Xtars that are 3100mAh will only be better if your light is able to be run down to 2.5v that is how they are getting that extra capacity out of those 3100's; if not, you are much better off in getting the Sanyo 2600's.
The Sanyo's I mention here, or the Xtar 2600?
If it helps the torch I will be putting them in is a Jetbeam BC40.
